I went in on a Thursday night it was last minute as I had just gotten off work and they told me that they couldn’t toast sandwiches anymore because they turned their toaster off at 7:40 when they close at 8.
They were so rude and kept rolling their eyes so I just told them never mind I don’t want the food so I walked out. They need to work on their customer service and also have a sign that toasters are turned off 20 minutes before closing

When I was walking up to the front door of the restaurant, I had to walk around the trash. There was littered all in front of the entrance. The garbage can on the outside was completely full and overflowing. As I got good closer to the glass front door, there was a bunch of slobber marks on the door. It looked like a dog had licked the outside of the glass. The glass just looked horrible, very dirt, and unkept.

When I entered into the restaurant, it wasn't any better. The tables all had food particles on them. The floor hadn't been swept, and the tables in the chairs were all sticky from soda pop.

A few weeks back, I talked to one of the employees about how the only reason why I was still a customer of togos was because I'm the Riverbank location they did it differently. You order your sandwich first, they make the sandwich right in front of you. Customers have the benefit of watching the person making their sandwich, making sure they're wearing gloves, making sure they don't put hot peppers on your sandwich, or something else that you don't like. The last thing you do is then pay for the sandwich, then fill up your drinks, and you're done.

I asked for napkins because there weren't any included with my order. Staff gave me two napkins. When men have facial hair, or a beard, you need to give them at least 4-5 napkins, minimum! When I asked the second time, the staff member acted like I was inconveniencing them.

I can understand SOME uncleanliness, but not when I'm the only customer! There were several employees standing behind the counter, not doing anything. i brought it to their attention that somebody had spilled some liquid on the floor, I asked for napkins, they asked why? I cleaned up a safety mess, so a customer wouldn't slip, get injured, and them sue the restaurant.

Bringing up a customer distracts the customer from being able to watch the sandwich being made, it also gives the impression that it's done intentionally. Because you want to hide the uncleanliness behind the counter or that you simply do not trust the customers, like, you're afraid of a grab the sandwiches and run situation. Yet the way the counters were originally designed, the registers were at the end of the counter closest to the entrance to the restaurant. This was a much better set up.Obviously, because customers could watch their sandwich being made. It can also increase sales because customers watching their sandwich being made can see how skimpy the amount of meat has become and if they want to, they have the option of paying to double the meat.

Fortunately, there are a couple of family owned sandwich shops in modesto, their restaurants are always clean, and the customer service is superb. It boils down to a lot of training issues and a lack of hiring workers who want to work and take pride in their workplace.

8/9 @ 5:40 pm. Sad no one wants to work anymore, and expect a tip. I came in and they pointed to the kiosk to order. I'll order online next time.

I've been coming here for years and today I has the worst sandwiches. I ordered 2 sandwiches. Both were a mess when we unwrapped them. The cranberry was all over the outside of the sandwiches. The bread was soggy and they tasted awful. Seems that employees don't want to a good job. They just want to hurry through the order and get people out.

Great sandwiches. Togo's is one of my favorites, much better than Subway.

Avoid this place... talk about inflation/shrink-flation.Nearly $19 for a single sandwich?!?!?!? Almost $80 for 4??!?!Lol. Wow! Wayyyy to expensive for what you receive. Low value and lack luster environment.Hard pass from now on... will be the last time for my family and I.Still a few better-valued options out there, especially when this particular site is boasting $20 an hour "and tips" on their employment banner hanging on the front of the business. Smh

I am pretty disappointed in the sandwiches. Last week I got one of the sandwich, and when I opened the sandwich the sandwich it is very soggy. Then, this week I thought I would try it one more time to get a sandwich from Togos and yet again it is very soggy.

I'v always thought that Togo's was better than subway but my tuna sandwich was really lacking. Not enough tuna and the bread was a little stale.

Stopped in this place right before it closed. Went with the Asian chicken wrap and barbecue baked lays.If you’ve been to Togos, then you know the menu. Our sandwich was good and I got it extremely fast.I would say the only thing that really needed to be done. Was the tables needed to be wiped down. Other than that everything was just fine.
