Just found this great little chicken. Place down the street from my shop. With a very healthy option for lunch, super clean inside, super cool. Dude, who runs it, and the food is really good. And a great deal, get it to go.
If you want chicken that tastes like an authentic mexican-prepared platter, than what screams (or clucks) "authentic" more than Acapulco Pollo?

The food was very decent and a nice change from the big name competition, the sides were different and good, rice, beans, and potato salad. Veronica has a good attitude and customer service skills. She said if any problems to let her know, only problem was the tortillas were the wrong ones from what I ordered and they stuck together. No big deal. Good to have a locally owned restaurant nearby.

The chicken was dry, the staff were rude, and the kitchen seems filthy. Would not eat here. The owner, Jose Gonzales, is also an awful human being who does not deserve business.

I wish I would have noticed the crickets chirping as I walked in. This place was empty and now I know why. I bought a whole chicken for $28.04. No salsa was given to me or tortillas nothing but the whole chicken. I wish I could say wow it was worth it but no. This chicken is dry and has no flavor. I visited 5/1/22 and this photo of the chicken is one day after, no one has eaten it. I will never go back.
