Antojitos Mexicanos La Ribera

Last weekend we decided to give this place another try. We’ve eaten here before and while the experiences weren’t great, they were decent enough to come back. The food itself is authentic, but this visit was disappointing.
The restaurant feels very worn down—peeling paint, dents in the walls, and visible lack of upkeep. The atmosphere wasn’t pleasant and made us question the overall cleanliness. A little maintenance would go a long way.
We waited 55 minutes for three bean sopes and one asada taco, and one of the sopes came out wrong. No one checked on us during the wait.
I’m not writing this to bash the restaurant, but to share our experience and hopefully bring attention to areas that need improvement.

We have been costumers for over 20 years. And was very sad that yesterday that we had dinner there, food did not taste the same, service was bad, food took forever to be delivered, and that is ok, but when it got to our table was cold, my son ordered a torta , torta was burn and bad, . I love this place and this comment is just for you guys to keep and eye on it , I hope is just a 1 time only bad food and service.

Slow service

The tacos are fantastic, that is all that I tried. Nothing bad to say other than hopefully you know the prices bc they are not listed. However I would definitely recommend this place, and I will go back soon

I ordered one aguachile...and the truth is, it was really bad...it didn't even have any flavor...and I returned themFor the same reason, they told me that I had to pay for them because they didn't have anything...and they wanted to give them to me to take away...how am I going to take something that is not well made...the truth is that it is a bad restaurant and bad service. ....
