Wasn't too busy when we arrived. The cashier was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Got the honey cinnamon cortado which is half espresso half milk with some honey cinnamon syrup. Also got a jumbo chocolate chip cookie. The espresso drink was a little bit sour but it had a nice cream on top. Next time I would ask for a little more syrup. I kind of like the way the espresso flavor and the sweet syrup kind of battle each other for control over my mouth. The cookie was awesome....
Everything about this coffee shop is mediocre. From the outside you’d think it’d be a cool industrial space in an old warehouse, but the inside just gives unfinished basement. The coffee itself is pretty meh, definitely not worth the very high prices they charge. They are also remarkably slow, so if there is any kind of a line at the counter when you walk in, just plan on being stuck waiting for a really long time. The baked goods they have for sale next to the cash register...
We actually live really close to the place and decided to give it a try. We are Starbuckers and right off the bat the customer service was great that's a plus for me (especially experiencing bad service and high prices at Starbucks). A young man very nice and helpful at the front counter. It did get a bit crowded after I ordered. I believe they only have 1 register. 1 person taking the order and fixing the drinks and 2 at the cashier. Regardless it was a great experience...
