Good vibe and the food was delicious!
This isn't the place to go if you're hungry or in a hurry. Every time I come in I wait a long time regardless of what I order or what time of day I visit. On a weekday morning when I knew I had limited time, I ordered drip coffee and a (room temp) pastry. After waiting 15 min I finally had to ask for the pastry. At 8 am I would expect more than 2 people working at a coffee shop...
Matcha was so grainy and did not taste like matcha even in the size small. So disappointed because this placed used to be pretty good and now its just bad
Delicious, but close too soon.
So much yes.
Arcade Coffee Roasters - The Bakehouse is located in the Canyon Crest Town Centre, just steps from East Coast Bagel.
I love stopping by for breakfast and coffee. They have a case full of pastries but I usually go for the Arcmuffin - sausage, frittata, their English muffin, chili crunch aioli, and cheddar cheese. This is a savory breakfast that is incredibly flavorful. They used to carry the LBS, which is Longanisa (Filipino sausage), frittata, their plain bagel, plantain ketchup, and American cheese. I recently tried their Avo Toast and was surprised how delicious it was - the flavor profile leans toward pickle and I loved it. Of course, I love pairing any of their breakfast items with either an iced vanilla latte or honey cinnamon latte - both are really good. And the baristas sure make pretty latte art.
They also sell freshly baked sourdough bread, which is amazing.
The ambiance is modern with a lovely atmosphere and friendly employees. Inside it’s bright with lots of natural light — my kind of vibe. The outdoor patio is where I usually like to sit. It’s especially beautiful during the spring when it’s not too hot or cold outside.
Parking during the weekend mornings can be challenging, as the town center gets pretty busy.
Overall, Arcade Coffee Roasters in Riverside has grown on me over the years and I just love coming back here to start my mornings with a hearty breakfast and a delicious cup of coffee.
Came for the special mango sticky rice matcha. Can’t taste the mango at all and the actual matcha itself is granular and bad. It makes the Starbucks matcha look like it’s ceremonial grade.
Overpriced and bad politics. The owners are conservative jerks who don't believe in Covid regulations and aren't welcoming to LGBTQ people. If you're a bigot, this is the place for you! Normal people should take their money elsewhere.
This place is decent at best as well as other locations they have. Coffee is ok but overpriced. I don’t like how they always change their menus and take away some foods I actually like. Went the other day and ordered steak and chimichurri burrito and the price was $17. For that price I think they’d put a good amount of steak and egg in it but no barely any mostly hash brown and was dry.
Had the draft latte, oatmeal cookie which they offered to warm up, and a kids hot chocolate. Cookie was excellent. Kids hot chocolate was a good size and served at the perfect drinkable temperature. Would get a different coffee next time as this was a little on the sweet side for me.
Kid-friendliness: Awesome kids hot chocolate.

We ordered a Sammie to go and some coffee. Coffee was to my liking, the sandwiches were pretty big so we could've probably split it. Very nice bright space, baristas were friendly. I would go here again for coffee to go and sandwich if I'm going to dine in.

Best coffee IMHO. Staff is always friendly!
GREAT coffee, my neighborhood place to sit down with a cappuccino and read a while. Wonderful staff, zero attitude, rare for an upscale coffee shop. Suggestions though: 1) Express line for drinks, pastries, beans, etc, and 2) Theyve gotten away from their “Frenchy” pastries— gallettes, Danishes, croissants, etc, and mostly have scones and muffins, at least when I come by. They’re still good, but I miss the other stuff.
