Amazing coffee! Great place to study. I buy the beans there to do pour overs at home.

Even if you've actually closed due to an employee contracting COVID.... It doesn't help that you're continuing to lie to your customers and community about how you ACTUALLY fired most of your staff: illegal union busting. It breaks my heart because I used to come here a lot mainly because of your lovely staff, the coffee was a plus.

Was a regular and came to the downtown Redlands location almost daily until the owners fired their workforce for unionizing. They even fired pro-union warehouse workers and replaced them with other anti-union employees. As a person that values the work of individuals generally but also specifically the baristas that worked here who went above and beyond, I will never spend money here again unless owners recognize the union and rehire employees.

The owners of Augie's coffee (Austin and Andy Amento) claim they had to close all their locations and lay off every employee due to the COVID-19 crisis. In reality, they fired their entire staff for attempting to organize a union in response to the poor working conditions. Such as, no full-time benefits, no paid time off, any raises that exceed the minimum wage, hazard pay during a pandemic, unfair tip distribution, and failure to implement safety measures immediately. Instead, the owners immediately began selling their "quarantine merch collection" online and in stores including, themed coffee blends, mugs, apparel, masks, and a 1-gallon and 5-gallon to-go option for their select drinks. As well as applying for and receiving vast amounts of Federal aid under the CARES act Paycheck Protection Program. In contrast, they couldn't even provide any masks for their baristas working on the front line. Any employees that opted to take unpaid time off offered by management were retaliated against by having their hours cut when they returned to work. After months of unsuccessfully attempting to resolve these issues, workers at Augie's decided to form a union to ensure that their voices would be heard. They tried to offer the owners the opportunity to engage in constructive dialogue with the goal of arriving at positive solutions for both employees and the business as a whole. As soon as Austin and Andy found out about the efforts to form a union, they called in the managers from each of their 6 locations and asked if they were Pro or Anti-union. The manager of their Riverside location got demoted immediately due to him expressing his pro-union views. Which is illegal under the National Labor Relations Act of 1935, a foundational statute of United States labor law that guarantees the right of private-sector employees to organize into trade unions, engage in collective bargaining, and take collective action such as strikes. Not long after, Austin and Andy fired their entire staff of ~80 employees without notice at all of their 6 locations (2 Redlands, 2 Riverside, Clairemont, and Temecula). These are loyal employees; some having been with the company for over 10 years. These are parents of young children, college students, human beings that have chosen to dedicate a sizable portion of their professional working lives to serving their community. They are now unemployed and dumped on the street during a pandemic by a company that projects this idea of loving and supporting their employees on social media, simply because they asked for better working conditions. Please consider this before supporting this business in the future. Also please check out the @augiesunion page on Instagram and consider donating to their GoFundMe to help financially support the employees that are now unemployed.

They could meet with the employees they illegally fired and compromise with them so they could reopen and be a business again.

* I AM REPOSTING MY REVIEW SINCE IT SEEMINGLY GOT DELETED * I'm an avid lover of coffee and exploring different coffee houses, and this location is a regular pit-stop for me. However when I went earlier today (mid-morning) with my fiancé, one of the male baristas there spoke rudely to her that left the both of us livid. I felt inclined to make note of this since this is the third time that we, within me and other close acquaintances, have received this inappropriate and unprofessional behavior from the same barista. If this was my first time ever going to Augie's, I wouldn't consider going again. I do want to make note though, as it is worth noting, that this company is good for the quality coffee and overall service. I've heard stories of this barista at the Riverside location, and now unfortunately I and my fiancé have been on the receiving end of his behavior.

This is one of my favorite Coffee places in the IE. This is Augie's 5th location primarily a grab & go location. It is located in the Riverside food lab with an additional take out window if you happen to be walking by. This is a great place to go if your looking to get some coffee while spending time in Downtown Riverside. My favorite drink is the Vanilla Latte, I prefer mine a little bit extra sweet. Next to Arcade Roasters this is one of my favorite place to get a lattes in the IE. Other popular drinks are the Lavender Vanilla Latte & Matcha. I've tried those and they are good, but for me you can't beat the Vanilla Latte. Be sure to check out their other locations if you end up trying it. My favorite location to sit down at is Downtown Redlands. The Claremont Packing House is another great location if your looking to get a coffee while checking out the surrounding area.

Basically if your not going to buy coffee at the moment of arrival do not bother to stay at Augie's. Expect for staff to harass you until you purchase an overpriced beverage or get kicked out. P.S. The WiFi sucks here.

The coffee is excellent, they really know their beans. And the staff is terrific, very knowledgeable. If you are buying beans by the bag, they give excellent recommendations. They have ample space to hunker down and work or study, either solo or in groups. They also have a shop in the Food Lab on Market Street, too, and all of their pastries at that shop are gluten free (YAY!).

What can I say. Local, excellent coffee shop. The atmosphere, product, and associates represent extremely well. Stop by you will not be disappointed.

Augie's! One can never go wrong with Augie's, and their coffee. The only other location I've been to is the one in Claremont at the Packing House and I have always had a pleasant experience and wonderful tasting coffee. The prices of their drinks are very reasonable, especially for the quality. Once can't go wrong with any of their drinks. My favorite coffee spot in the Inland Empire, wish that they had locations in the LA/OC area as well. It was our first time at the Riverside Food Lab and we had thought that Augie's was outside, but it was just around the corner from Pig Pen. We had given up our table to another party so our group of 5 ended up on the cute bench across from Augie's and finished the rest of our coffees at the Game Lab with a few arcade games. My go to is always the regular latte with whole milk because of the full, bold flavors and the simplicity of the drink. Since I had my Starbucks tumbler on me, as I was finishing the rest of my Pike Place during dinner, I asked if they could make my latte in my personal cup. No problemo! They do offer stamp cards. Buy 10 drinks and you'll get $2.25 off your drink. It isn't much but it's better than nothing, especially since their drinks are more than affordable!

Love this place. The coffee is amazing- the honey cinnamon latte with oat milk is my favorite. It's so creamy and not too sweet. The lavender one is good too but tastes a little too flowery for me. My fiancé also drives from LA to get their cold brew every couple weeks or so. That's how good their coffee is. The service here is also very friendly. The last time we went I asked my friend if she knew how decaf was made. The barista overheard and explained the process just bc I was curious. Augie's, keep up the great work!

Great place. Great customer service. We were able to get the happy hour sale on baked goods which were all $1 each. Happy Augie's customer here. I always get the latte for mua and a hot chocolate for bf.

What more do you need. They have a wonderful selection, the coffee is delicious and there people are super friendly and kind. Always prefer to give my business to a local company and they give you much reason to. Only thing I wish is you had a bullet proof type of coffee with collagen etc... (But that's a wish list and hard to find in our area) ??
