This place is a nice hidden gem near the UCR campus, the place was empty on a Sunday night and it was just us and the server. After speaking with her, we decided upon the Vegetable Bao and Japanese curry. The bao needed a little bit of help from the Chili oil at the table but the curry was fine as is and made for a good comfort food on a rainy Sunday evening.

Visited on Sunday 2/4/2024 around 5:30. Food was ok but server decided to tip herself more than we stated and also charged for a drink we didn’t order. Find another spot to eat dumplings if you don’t wanna get scammed.

Literally the best soup dumplings I've ever had, but they seriously need to fix their connection to DoorDash. They've cancelled my last four or five orders with them; the store calls for me to redo the order, and then it gets cancelled again. It's pretty frustrating, especially since the cancellation happens around the time that the order is supposed to be delivered. I'll probably just stick with in person restaurant attendance going forward (whenever I can) because there's no point in doing online orders.

Food & service were definitely on point waitress was very polite and welcoming.Restaurant was clean and decor was warm.I must say the food was perfectly flavored, well balanced. Portion size was definitely great aswell.Spicy Hot pot Broth was 10/10 as I love spicyPopcorn Chicken was crispyAnd ofcourse their dumplings were packed with flavor! Just be careful while eating as the broth will be hot Well most definitely have to come back to try their fish tofu

Surprisingly good. I didn't have high expectations, thinking it's for not-so-picky students of UCR. However the food is very good, not just US-TW restaurant good, but I think it'd make it in Taiwan as well.Everything we ordered was above average at the minimum. Beef noodle soup the 2nd best I've had in the US. XLB pretty much the best in the US outside of DTF, and that's saying a lot!I sincerely hope this place will stay open with the same quality level so we can become patron.

My fiancé and I have been here several times now & I feel motivated to write a review.. the food is the best in university village, in our opinion.All of the dim sum is perfectly cooked & the flavors are on point. The beef noodle soup is & they also have a variety of these flavored iced teas we love.I would come everyday to eat if I could. I hope this place never leaves university village.
