Great spot to grab a craft brew with great bartenders! With all the other restaurants that the Food Lab has to offer, it makes this place a great option if you're looking to have a good brew.

I usually don't feel the need to write reviews for negative experiences; everyone has terrible days, and especially for events as busy as the Festival of Lights, I understand the commotion of huge crowds can be overwhelming for those in the service industry. As someone who deals with their fair share of disgruntled patrons, I empathize with what bartenders and servers deal with. However, there is nothing as uncalled for as unwarranted hostility. On 12/9, my gf and I were sitting at the bar eating food from Fufu's and drinking some beers (from Beerfarm, purchased by my brother for us) , while my brother and his gf were standing behind us. They had given up their seats at the bar for us so we could eat since there was no space elsewhere. As soon as we finished eating, and while my brother closed the tab, a bartender approached us, took our drinks away (mine was empty, but my gf hadn't finished hers), and asked us if we needed anything. We said no, and immediately, his demeanor and tone changed, and told us the seats were for paying customers. I was confused at what he said because my brother bought us drinks, which he literally watched us drink. We just didn't want to drink any more than that. There were other patrons around us nursing their drinks while they watched the hockey game, so I also don't understand why he felt it was warranted to "call us out" in particular.At first, I felt there was some maybe some confusion or miscommunication. However, I have been thinking about this exchange the entire weekend, and I decided to write this review because never in my 10 years of working in the service industry have I ever felt appropriate to be such as a** to somone that wasn't an a** to me first. I don't think anything we did warranted that. I doubt the bartender that said this to me will read this, but in the offchance that you do, next time, keep your comments to yourself. Call out sick everyonce in a while. Something.

This place is the best. The bartenders are super cool and the beer selection is great! I love to come here and hangout with my pup who is always served fresh water too :) Glad to have found my spot.

Great service. Friendly service. Our server explained the beer flights and different toppings for the flights on holidays. I was here during Dia De Los Muertos. I enjoyed my Mango Wheat beer from Murrieta,CA. I look forward to ordering a Beer flight in the future and play arcade games next door. My company enjoyed their beers, they were from San Diego.

Man I love this place! They're my first stop when I go to the Lab. Their offerings hit the mark. Their service hits the mark. Even on super busy nights-they hit ALL the marks. Their staff is friendly, helpful and just overall rad. They're like the beer whisperers. My beer-y taste buds are picky. Their peeps make the BEST craft recommendations. No matter how long the line-go. Beerfarm is worth the wait.

Honestly have minimal complaints about this place. First of all, the beertenders are all nice. Second, the selection is a wide enough variety to try new things. Overall a good time given that it's in a food hall. We typically go during the week and it isn't so horribly crowded so that's also plus in our experience.

If I can give this place 0 stars i would. ! DO NOT RECOMMEND !My Husband & I came here for our 1st time & right at the bat the bartender (lady with lots of tattoos, nothing wrong with tattoos but so you can know who I'am talking about if you do decide to come here) was so attentive to other make customers that literally she would not check up on us to see if we were ready to order besides that she was on her phone nonstop. Her ATTENTION & FOCUS was in her guys at the bar IGNORING EVERYONE ELSE. While I went to go place our food order at Bricks & Birch my husband tried to order another beer with the guy that works there (Chubby Guy) who actually was arguing with a client (so unprofessional) My husband asked him if he worked here because he wasn't doing anything just standing there & the guy told my husband "idk I'm just standing here" & my husband proceeded to tell him " I'm asking because you haven't bothered to check up on anyone" My husband finally got his beer. After we ate the lady was still on her phone (texting) she finally stopped texting LITERALLY LOOKS at my husband with an EMPTY CUP she turns around & walks away instead of asking "want another one?" Or w offer something. We waited 25 MINUTES to get offered another beer & unfortunately that didn't happen. We decided to close out & my husband mentioned to the guy he was disappointed & the guy had the audacity to ARGUE with him to & be Sarcastic. Moral of the story DONT RECOMMEND!
