Bella Trattoria Italian Bistro

Our server was very good and helpful. The food did not taste good at all., our three-year-old didn't even like the spaghetti and he normally loves spaghetti. The ambience would be nice except there's a lot of homeless people and drug addicts walking by as we were sitting on the patio. Also found it pretty interesting. The music was playing, and there was ads in between the Frank Sinatra songs lol I had always wanted to stop by here because I liked the mission Inn and the other restaurants so we made an appointment to come check this place out and this would be the last time. We were always wondering why it's always empty now we know.

A very pleasant evening with fabulous pizzas and good wines. Service was very polite and courteous. Good outdoor dining and great prices. It's a great location since you can get a good tour of the Mission Inn also. Thank you

The food and service was great! It was a little hot in the indoor seating area and the server couldn't find the ceiling fan remote to turn up the fan.

Overall, just really great. Kitty was an attentive server and personable. The dishes we chose were absolutely delicious and the wine good!

We were the only customers in the ENTIRE restaurant and it still took a server 10 minutes to come over to take our drink order. Server was very nice and polite but given the ghost town that it was it was surprising to not have a certain level of customer service that you would hope a restaurant would strive for. We just ordered appetizers and when they came out it was laughable. $16 for two meatballs the size of the ones that you get in the frozen food section at Costco with two pieces of bread and bruschetta that was drowned in vinaigrette, that looked like it had been saved from the prior night. We ate our appetizers and had to flag down the hostess to receive our check because we had not seen our server in over 20 minutes. Will NEVER be going back.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Our waitress Jordan was one of the worst waitresses I’ve had in my entire life. She took a long time to take our drink orders, and then after taking our food orders completely disappeared. We had to ask multiple other workers here to hunt her down because she hadn’t come back to our table in over 30 minutes. I ordered a shirley temple that came with lemonade which I hadn’t expected (no mention of that on the menu), so I asked for it without lemonade. When another waitress brought a refill later since she hadn’t returned in so long, it had lemonade it (which another person at my table confirmed). When Jordan finally came back and I let her know it had lemonade, she told me I was wrong and that it didn’t have lemonade it in it. I have NEVER had a server argue with me before, I was baffled. She eventually did fix the drink but was rude the entire rest of the night and came back maybe one other time, other than to take the bill of course. The pizza we got tasted genuinely like frozen pizza cooked in a pizza oven. The service was absolutely atrocious and the food was bad. Avoid at all costs, go literally anywhere else in the area for better food.

We just got home from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a major letdown. I honestly think the real chef must have been off for the 4th of July—because whoever cooked today clearly wasn’t a professional. We were shocked that a restaurant connected to the Mission Inn Hotel would serve food like this.
The dishes were completely bland, like someone forgot to add salt—or any seasoning at all. My cream sauce was watery and flavorless, nothing like the “lemon flavor” the waitress mentioned. My son said his pasta was the worst Italian food he’s ever had—and that even our leftovers at home taste better!
It was also uncomfortably hot inside, even though we were seated indoors with supposed air conditioning. Service started off friendly, but then the staff disappeared. We waited forever just to ask for basic things like salt, and no one checked on us during the meal.
To be fair, our waitress was polite and smiled even after we gave feedback, which we appreciated. But overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless they seriously improve both the food and the experience.

The easiest way to describe my experience? HORRIBLE! The food was poorly made—bland and completely lacking flavor. It honestly felt like the chef forgot to add salt or any seasoning at all. Absolutely not worth the money I paid. We were the only customers in the restaurant during our visit, which was already a red flag. While the waitresses were friendly, they barely showed up. After seating us, they disappeared. Luckily, they came back to take our order—but then vanished again. After bringing our food, they were gone for good. Zero service the entire time. Do yourself a favor—skip this place and eat somewhere else!

The server was nice, but not attentive. Took multiple tries to get someone to our table when we needed something. When I asked about something I had ordered, she said “Thanks for reminding me, I forgot!” The food was okay.

atmosphere is great, cannot say the same for service or food. It took so long and servers were very inattentive. So disappointed, don't come here if you are in a rush, we waited an hour for our food and there was 2 other tables full. that's all.

rude waiters who treat people differently based on race, it's not my fault that you dislike your service job, maybe you can just quit and be broke? this is the mission inn, we have spent many years coming to this place and we love to walk around here, but since my horrible experience at this eatery, we have not returned.

Food is poorly made...no salt and seasoning. Pasta lacked cheese and sauce, making it extremely dry. Our server was nice but not attentive at all. We got there before others and were served last and some of our food was forgotten. We wanted to ask for salt and cheese and she only came out to see us once. It was overly priced for bad food.

Elegant, classy, beautifully appointed. We loved the cuisine...appetizers, salads, main, desserts and coffee! The service by Irene, ambiance, the florals, trees, hues...the open door breezes and music wafting...viva la Italia!! 🇮🇹

Lovely outdoor patio (in good weather), fast and friendly service (thank you Jordan!), and delicious food!
