Amazing..should have drained the pasta more. It was watery and took away from the flavor in the sauce

I should have listened to the reviews. We went for Valentine’s dinner and it was not what we expected. The short rib tortellini was very bland and only came with six pieces. The spaghetti bolognese was just okay. The chicken parmesan was served with grilled chicken strips, and there was barely any parmesan. The Caesar salad had almost no dressing. To top it off, my drink glass was cracked at the rim.
All of that came out to $140, plus $20 for valet since they don’t validate. Definitely disappointing for a special occasion.

There were not enough choices on the menu. And two of the choices where not available. What we did eat was great. The atmosphere was lovely.
Service was very slow. Not much to offer on cocktails. The $16 salad was something I wouldn't pay $4 for it was that sad looking. Salad and focaccia bread took much longer than a normal wait would be. Did the all you could eat spaghetti and although I could eat a spaghetti anywhere I felt this one was highly disappointing. I didnt even finish my plate let alone ask for another. The ambiance was fantastic I've grown up going to the mission inn for 25 years. This meal was way below average and would not return. Other dinings in the MI have been great!
Got seated quickly. The service was excellent, so was the food. All the items we ordered were fresh and well prepared. Would highly recommend this place for good Italian food experience.
The pasta was not cooked. The meatballs seem like they were frozen food. The taste no existent the service was decent. The place was a freezer we had to wear our full on heavy coats to keep warm the waitress or the management took off part of the bill. I don't know how this restaurant right next to a historical hotel Mission Inn could stay in business very bad experience for a New Year's.eve we end up ordering pizza to go, and I was in to spectacular either. Do not eat at this place. I would not recommend.it at all
The food tasted good but the menu offering were very limited. They offered only 3 pasta dishes or pizza.
The menu options were far fewer than the menu online. The price of the food did not match the quality of the food - think frozen Italian food from the store, not bad at all, but definitely not expensive restaurant quality.
Our reservation was at 5:30 and we weren't sat until almost 6:30. They had a VERY limited menu for the holidays that they did not tell us about, there were only 3 pasta choices and 4 pizza choices, that was it. It was extremely expensive and the portions were very small. Not to mention, the wait for the food was incredibly long especially considering that they had a limited menu.

I made these reservations weeks ago, however, we had to wait. Then, we were offered a table in the entrance lobby. Our server was GREAT, as it was busy, and she did greet us within an acceptable time frame.
I made a reservation - still had to wait 30 minutes. They were very unorganized and told me to come back when I got notified by text. Still had not heard after 30 minutes so walked back to check in and "then" they seated us. They needed a few more severs. Our server was good. Not all dishes they showed on the website were available. Very limited menu and the food was just "fair" My pizza was not hot.
The spaghetti and meatballs were a huge disappointment. The spaghetti was cut and the meatballs were the size of a nickel. It looked like it came from a can.
The restaurant was decorated for Christmas. The tree was nice. We ordered calamari and it was slightly burnt but we were hungry so we ate it. Reservation was made at 6pm but was seated at 630pm since we want to sit inside the restaurant. But it doesn't matter coz it as cold as sitting outside, you can smell the scent of the sewer. Ordered pizza ( meat lovers) which was good and their penne. The chicken alfredo is bland( Olive Garden's is even better), the pasta were broken into pieces( isn't that against Italian rule). My soda was watered down with ice, so I have to ask for another one. The server was good, after awhile she was checking on us. But mainly here to enjoy the lights at Mission In, so that made our night!🎄
The staff was nice enough but our server didn't follow my instructions on my salad. I ordered. I wanted tomatoes and dressing on the side. My request wasn't followed, unfortunately. I then ordered spaghetti and meatballs. My friend ordered chix alfredo. Both came out luke warm. Plus, the portions were very small for the price. Next time, we'll go to Maggiano's at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.
