Cenaduría Oaxaqueña Donaji truly exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is set in a house with limited parking, but plenty of street parking nearby. Luckily, we found a spot inside. As we stepped under the large white tarp, we were welcomed like guests at a family gathering, I immediately felt at home.

Don’t let the location fool you, this is a great spot if you are craving Oaxacan food and don’t want to drive all the way to LA or OC. It is located in a local neighborhood, but there is plenty of parking and it feels very safe.

I was really excited to try this place and I wanted to try everything...
Got a tamal de mole, tlayuda, quesadillas, and a mezcal shot.
Everything was so delicious!
The service was outstanding- everyone was really good at their job and super friendly!
Oh, I got the Oaxacan water as well.. it was refreshing !
