Downtown Riversides hidden gem!!! Stopped by this wonderful shop while shopping at the farmers market. I expected a nice cupcake but what I received was an outstandingly wonderful cupcake!! We ordered a lemon cupcake and a red velvet. The Lemon was wonderfully light and moist and full of sunshine kissed lemon flavor. The red velvet was equally as light and moist with wonderful melt in your mouth chocolate flavor. The frosting was neither to dense nor to light, it's flavor perfectly complimented both cupcakes. Be sure to stop by Cupcakes and Curiosities on your next trip to downtown riverside.

Very pleased with the customer service,we ordered 3 dozen cupcakes in which we transported back to Utah they were packaged wonderful and they held up. Great everyone loved them here. They were absolutely delicious. This is my favorite one and only place to go.,we we’ll definitely drive back to get more thank you cupcakes and curiosities for your hospitality. I’ve been to Cupcakes and Curiosities twice now, and both times were absolutely wonderful! This place is such a gem in downtown Riverside from the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere that feels like a mix between a bakery and a little wonder shop. It’s charming, colorful, and full of personality you can tell it’s made with love. The cupcakes are amazing moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the quality ingredients and care that go into every bite. Each cupcake looks like a mini work of art, and they have such fun, creative flavors that make it hard to choose just one (so I didn’t, I got a few!). But what really makes this place stand out is the customer service. The worker who helped me both times was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They took the time to answer my questions, made great recommendations, and just made the experience feel special. Whether you’re picking up a treat to brighten your day, celebrating something special, or just wandering through downtown Riverside, this is a must-stop spot. I’ll definitely be coming back again and bringing friends next time! Next I’m ordering a custom cake. So good! The cookie dough cupcake was honestly my favorite. 🤤

Went today, Wednesday at 2pm and they were sold out of mostly everything. I was looking forward to trying this place for the first time, their fall flavors…I asked the worker when they normally sell out of those flavors and she said around noon. Which is crazy cause they close at 5. Disappointed 😕

Got the gluten free vegan cupcakes from here for a friend who is dairy and gluten free and she said they were fantastic. As someone who does eat dairy and gluten I tried them and also thought they were great. The owner/baker was also extremely nice. I will definitely be visiting here again.

After seeing pictures and reading reviews, we popped in Friday to pick up cupcakes for my son’s birthday. He only likes frosting so we opted out of a cake since we do parties every other year. They were extremely helpful when I called and when we showed up in person. My daughter LOVED the shop, even complimenting the woman on how beautiful the place was. The cupcakes are delicious and we will definitely go back! We got lemon, cookie dough, cookies and cream, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla with sprinkles. All amazing.
