The Riverside Airport Cafe

This place is Riverside’s hidden gem! Absolutely great people that own this place with an excellent staff that works hard and is extremely attentive. This is how brunch used to be. Fantastic food, bottomless mimosas, and excellent ambience! If you don’t at-least make one trip here then you are certainly missing out!

This is such a cute cafe! It’s clean and very spacious. Customer service was nice but not very attentive. There’s also an outside patio where you can see airplane landings and take offs. The food was homey and very diner like. Had a great experience coming here!

Always a really great experience at Riverside Airport Cafe. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, the service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is honestly one of the best parts. It’s such a unique spot to relax while watching the planes come and go — it has that classic local café feel while still being welcoming and comfortable. They even have a DJ on Saturdays and Sundays, which makes hanging out on the patio even more fun with music playing. The owner, Leimamo, is always good energy and makes everyone feel welcome. Definitely a favorite local spot!

Everyone from hostess to service was friendly and welcoming.

Overall, it was an okay experience.

Long wait to be seated.

Food took a long time to come out. Dishes did not arrive at the same time.

The noise level is very high inside, exacerbated by the loud music. It was already difficult to have any kind of conversation and then it felt as if they turned up the music even more.

The food was not bad but nothing extraordinary. The prices a on the high side for the quality and quantity.

It's exciting and novel to eat in a working airport with view onto the runway. A once in a lifetime experience that doesn't need a repeat.

Our favorites Saturday spot

People hyped up this place too much! Went there and got chilaquiles and they were super salty, everything else has LOTS of pepper. Every plate taste like pepper, only good thing was the view! Took forever to get my tab!

Clean, good food, and fun atmosphere with attentive, pleasant staff.

The cafe itself is a little bizarre. It's inside the airport, towards the back area. Which means that when you put your name in at the front counter, you're waiting in airplane terminal seating in the main Central Hall or atrium of the building.

You then get escorted to your seat, and you can choose to sit inside the cafe which I think takes a little bit longer to be accommodated, or you can choose to sit outside where today they had a DJ, and different types of games for you to play including giant connect four!

The coffee was good, the staff was attentive, the prices were reasonable, the service was quick...

This place is worth checking out if only for how unique the cafe is, and definitely for how good the food is.

There's also a vintage gumball machine there that still dispensing gum balls for $0.25 each. They replace the gumballs 2 weeks ago. They're not from 20 years ago like my date and I thought it might be.

The food is great! The only complaint I have is the music. They shouldn't play the type of music they play with kids present. Also the service you get depends on the waitress. There is a couple on there A game a more than a few there to collect a check.
