Came in because of an Instagram post recommending this place, and the food actually looked good, so I decided to make a drive down to the restaurant. I was greatly disappointed in the sandwich. First off they are extremely pricey. We wanted to try the cheesesteak sandwich with bell peppers and onions. The sandwich looked good but the meat was so CHEWY and not sliced meat like a real cheesesteak. We got the foot long size and it was $25, yes that's right $25!! It was gross couldn't finish it. First impressions are everything, and when we walked in and saw only 1 table occupied we should have walked away. Not worth it, save your money and make your own sandwich at home for a third of the cost.

Worst grinder I have ever had. Barely any meat or cheese, just loaded with lettuce & tomato. Unbelievable how skimpy they are on meat & cheese & for that price they should be ashamed of themselves. Bread isn't worth $10+ for it!! I will never eat there again

A good deli should not have an extra meat option for add'l cost. I found out why, my ham sadwich had 1 slice cut in half, 1 on top & 1 on bottom, 1 slice of cheese. No mayo, mustard, only shredded lettuce & tomato. Bread is good but should not be the best thing of a sandwich. Owners needs to take a trip to midwest & east coast to see first hand how a good deli stacks their sandwiches with quality meat not store bought packaged.

Hands down the best sandwich in town this or any other town. Come for the bread stay for the meat my only problem was finding a seat.

The female employee working at the counter wasn’t very personable. Not rude; just not friendly either - neutral at best. I waited a while for my food. The sandwich was not up to my standard honestly. I’m from SF and the deli sandwiches I’m used are loaded with thick layers of meat that you can see when you cut the sandwich in half. Oh yeah - my sandwich wasn’t even cut in half for me. The bread was hard too, in fact they didn’t ask me what bread I even wanted? It was like biting into a cracker. I had to go home and add mustard and hot sauce to make the rest of it worth eating. They need some kind of sauce - that’s what all Bay Area spots have is their own sauce that sets them apart. the oil moistened the sandwich and made it a little better. But not much. Honestly so disappointing considering the ratings this place has. This is the second IE sandwich spot I’ve tried and still sad to say I’m unimpressed. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money and gotten some in n out instead.

Best grinders in town.... Although I experience a problem with my order in which I asked them not to add any oil to my grinder because I wanted to eat it later for work and I didn't want it to be to oily and soft, so I addressed it to the person at the register and they offered to remake it, which was great

Skimpy on the meat and veggies, even when you pay extra for them. Not very friendly service.

This was my spot.. Chicken BLT my go to sandwhich... Today 4/9/24 my sandwhich was 21.74 with tax.. No issue.. I expect that... The problem is how light the sandwhich is.. Then i notice the sandwhich is significantly smaller while costing significantly more... This is insane... Sorry Delias, we had a good run but at these prices vs the portion served, i cant continue supporting when Im hungry$20 for a sandwhich, yall need to throw in a drink and a cookie and a bag of chips.....

As so many other IE peeps, we've been coming here since we were kids. I can always remember how excited we all got to come get our grinder on. Now these days, many years later, somewhere in my Middle Ages lol and I still get excited to have me a grinder. Love me some D'Elia's Grinders

I have been coming here for over 50 years. The building has changed but the grinders never have. They are still amazing. The best grinder I have ever had. I live out of state now but always make sure to stop here when we are back visiting family. Don't miss out.
