To describe Eagle's Nest Cafe, it's an on campus extension of The Commons. Located on the campus of La Sierra, Eagles Nest serves pre made sandwiches and pastries along with an on demand vegetarian deli. It's nothing fancy, as a matter of fact one of the biggest complaints of the students at La Sierra is the over priced items at the Eagles Nest Cafe. For those who don't frequent the Eagle's Nest Cafe, such as myself, the food and drinks are tolerable. They are the only place on the campus where you can grab a snack, drink or coffee. If you are visiting La Sierra and happen to be staying on the campus, Eagle's Nest Cafe is your only choice between hours or late night. It's mostly used as a socializing or late study area. They tend to have live music and events.

Long wait for anything even if there isn't anyone there. There aren't very many options, but the stuff they do make isn't bad. I like getting a cheeseburger which is actually pretty affordable. Everything is vegetarian but not vegan so there is real cheese. There is a really good selection of drinks and if you're looking for caffeine you can find it at the Eagles Nest.

Pretty much everything is just frozen food and nothing is like actually cooked which can get tiring since everything pretty much tastes the same. By the end of the week, salad bar is not really fresh anymore but there is a variety offered so there's that I guess.

La Sierra University cafeteria is also open to the public. It is the best deal around! Delicious vegetarian food that includes hot, Homestyle type food, salad bar, amazing soups, Pizza, desserts, fresh fruit, made to order sandwiches, a made-to-order grill area, and usually vegetarian burgers and dogs.

The food is too expensive for the amount of portion they give you. The food is horrible, and the school expects you to pay for everything. PB&J is too overpriced here. The students here are paying at least $40,000 per year, at least try to make the food decent.
