Donahoo's Golden Chicken

Real deal chicken you have to order and wait for it to be delightfully cooked . This place has been here forever. I’ve been coming here or drive-by for 35 years if you want chicken this is the real deal.

Waited a long time for my order which I called in and was told 25 minutes wait time when it actually took approximately 45 minutes for me to receive my order.I used to love this place but this was my 2nd visit in a year and both times the chicken isn't what it used to be not sure if it's changed ownership or not but definitely not like it was when I lived closer. Also the questions about seating there is no sit down eating in this facility to my knowledge it's a to go order only place I believe unless it's recently changed but I don't think it has .

Classic old school fried chicken. Probably not healthy, I believe they fry in hydrogenated vegetable shortening, please correct me if I am mistaken. But everything tastes so good. They've been around forever. Still going strong.

A welcoming establishment with kind people providing great service. Food is delicious. Mojo’s are delicious and deals are great. Will always return back.🫶

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a little while now, but since the reviews said that it was cash only and because I usually just have my card on me. So I finally pull out cash and come in. And guess what. They have Apple Pay
I order the 4 piece chicken dinner comes with a big roll ( tasted old ) french fries and a coleslaw The chicken was good but not much flavor and a bit small also the breading was too flaky. The fries 🍟 were really good and there was a lot of them the coleslaw was the best part of the meal ( better than KFC’s and canes ) Had to wait 15 minutes for the food And the parking lot is very small only three spaces two regular and one handicap. The prices are very reasonable $15. For the dinner I think I will come back

I was advised by my husband to go to this place and I was not disappointed. The chicken could use more seasoning but it was good. Freshly made, well battered. The fries was nicely seasoned. You get a huge roll and if you don't want a salad you can get a beverage instead. I opted for the beverage. Small, no eating inside and very limited parking in front, however you can park next door. Also I got to pick the pieces of chicken i wanted which is priceless. I was pleased and would go back, maybe ask for extra seasoning on the chicken. Oh you get a buzzer for when your food is done. The hot sauce is great. The ranch was ok for me. Overall, it's a yes for referrals. Oh no bathroom, I had to give a tip to the Chinese place and they let me go. Bu5 I don't think thar is common.

The food is amazing!
The chicken is juicy, crispy and flavorful! ?
The mojos and fries are perfect and the bread on its own is just mind glowing!
The staff is so friendly!
They make everything in house (bread included ?) and they do no compromise the integrity of any of their food for the sake of time!
You may have to wait 15 min but your food is guaranteed to be fresh and it’s worth every single minute because I have yet to receive an order that I had an issue with!

Best tasting chicken, very juicy. The mojos and slaw also great! The biscuits also very good and moist. This will be my go to chicken place. I will have to try the gizzards next time.

I went once when I first moved to Jurupa Valley. I did not have a good experience. I got a dinner box. Everything was dry. I couldn't eat potatoes or roll and threw them out. I dislike wasting my money.

This place is amazing a must try hidden gem 1st time trying gizzard here an it was exceptional they went above and beyond looking forward to going back soon !

The chicken is well-seasoned, the mojo potatoes are so good! The rolls are enormous and delicious! The coleslaw is unique and tasty!

We just happened to stumble on this place while driving home. The food is spot on! The chicken was cooked perfectly! And the portions.... lord have mercy. My mother and I got Options C, which is rice and noodles with 3 protein options. We could have shared 1 plate due to it being so large. This is definitely the definition of "Never judge a book by it's cover".
