I came to Duke’s for the first time last night with my brother. I was really surprised by the experience! I was expecting a typical dive bar experience, but it was really a bit more elevated. The bartender was hilarious and extremely welcoming. We ordered a Modelo pitcher and we’re offered salt or tajin on the rims of our glasses—we chose tajin.
We also ordered some food. I had the Duke’s Burger with a side of onion rings and my brother had the blackened chicken dinner. The burger was perfectly medium rare and extremely flavorful. It was an awesome burger. The onion rings were good, too, and they gave us quite a lot. My brother’s chicken was super juicy and tender, and the mashed potatoes were very creamy and tasty.
Overall, it was an awesome experience and I totally recommend coming here for dinner! It was so good! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Riverside.
