This place is FIRE!!! they make bomb queso birria tacos and large Baja style shrimp tacos. I came here several times with a friend's from work and each time the food was delicious. Service is pretty fast. It's a small local place and gets pretty crowded for lunch. It's well worth it so stop in for those birria tacos.

Lacks customer service and politeness , young lady was rude and told me I had to dine in to try the complimentary beans. I probably would have dined in if the environment was more welcoming, seems they don’t want to bring in new customers in like myself. Food not worth the price. Next time I’ll keep driving and wait until I’m in Perris to get some good Mexican food from food truck.

We love this place! Great food, salsa is so good and the service is wonderful! We go at least once a week.
We come here all the time. The food is always great. All that has changed are the beans not as good as they used to be. Everything else that we have tried is great! The service is good as well. The salsa bar is always filled and the options are great.

Mildew meat... Be careful if you eat here. my son and I got the same order, Asada torta. We both bit our food at the same time and noticed a mildew smell. We spit out the food. We called and complained, they said we could not have an exchange or refund because we bit into the torta. Other people here have gotten sick as well , look at the other reviews. I would caution you to eat here at your own risk.

Best Mexican around in Riverside IMO. Their quality of meats are consistent every time I eat there. Their rewards program is the best I've seen so far for a Mexican restaurant. Awesome place

My husband and I have been here twice now for dinner after Saturday church. They have a good variety of offerings with complimentary chips and salsa and pinto beans. The tacos are very good and I have had the shrimp burrito, they didn't skimp on the shrimp. Good food good value!
The salsa bar is top notch! The chips are so crispy, very ?. I got the carne asada burrito. It was delicious ?. Also got carne asada tacos. Quality meat for both! I ordered to go but you can also eat inside and I would definitely do it because it's clean inside. I can't forget the wide variety of Mexican sodas in a glass bottles. I would highly recommend El Rey Taco Grill ? ?

Great food. Friendly service. Had the chilaquiles plate and a birria taco with consome. Birria taco was really tasty and consome was warm and delicious. Chilaquiles were good, one small thing was rice was on the cool side, not warm/hot.

I generally get El Rey delivered. I really like the food and will continue to order from here. El Rey delivery service has consistently been an issue. They need someone in the store to ensure what belongs in the order gets to the customer every time!
