I'm just disappointed in the food. We ordered the tofu bowls with vegetables instead of rice. Perhaps it would've been better if we chose rice instead of vegetables. There was an adequate amount of tofu. The salad simply consisted of Shredded raw green cabbage. The hot sauce tasted like what you might get from Taco Bell which is OK if that is what you are hoping for. But the major disappointment for me was, I was expecting sautéed vegetables, and I received steamed cabbage and carrots. This is the sort of thing one would expect in the 1980s when going to Denny's and asking for a vegetarian meal when nobody heard of vegetarian food, but this is 2024 and people know about vegetarian food, and people want some flavor and texture . So basically, I got a bowl of little tofu cubes with no flavor, although they were slightly charred a little bit, and some raw shredded cabbage and 3 or 4 pieces of steamed cabbage and thinly sliced rounds of carrots with zero flavor. The only flavor in this bowl came from the hot sauce. The restaurant calls itself Korean style so I was expecting a lot more flavor. This was like a "diet plate" from 1985 .

Skip this location and go to the one in Redlands, staff was not very friendly and we went in at a time that it was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Bathroom smelled like play doh, which is gross. I feel like if a restaurants bathroom is dirty I don’t want to see their kitchen. I asked for sauces and was told you can’t have the amount I wanted for my bowl. Which has never once happened at other location. SKIP this one.

I ordered two beef bowls with white rice and I think I didn't say one specific thing I wanted? & the Asian guy at the counter asked me with such attitude in his tone as if it was a bother to ask me. Which was surprising because he was about my age. Plus I work fast food so I always try to know my order ahead of time. Mind you this was a while back but I remembered him from the last couple times I've gone here.

This is the only Flame Boiler I will go to. Clean, friendly, & the food is always fresh, never dry or overcooked. Every other flame boiler I've gone to either the food is just reheated & not fresh or undercooked. This Flame Boiler is Asian Family owned & it shows. They have pride in their business & food. Highly recommend.

A food and safety HAZARD! I found sharp shards of something in my mom’s bowl and she could not eat the bowl at all. I called and told them what I found and the young guy there said they will not do anything about it. He said the only way to fix it is to make it back in time to return the bowl and have a new one made (mind you, I live 20 minutes away, and they were closing in 10 minutes). I explained this to him, along with the fact that my mom could not eat the food with sharp unknown objects in it, and would appreciate just a store credit for tomorrow. However, he said he didn’t care that my mom was hurt from trying to eat the bowl or that our money was wasted from the inedible food, and proceeded to hang up. So disappointed because I pass other flame broilers just to come to this one and get this poor customer service… I absolutely will not be returning.

The food was very good buy way to expensive for what you get.
Flame Broiler is great for picking up some reasonably healthy food. This flame broiler is pretty consistent quality wise bowls are pretty good veggies not a bunch of mushiness. Only thing is the prices keep on climbing and for me it has gotten to the point where the value almost isn't there. I used to go more frequently but since the prices have gotten to where they are I've dialed it back a bit. Other than price really not much to complain about. Then again I'm getting to that age in life where everything is starting to seem overpriced ??

Flame Broiler has decent food that is healthier than fast food. Prices are good for what you get. Average dining in experience for fast food. I would recommend this for a healthier quick eat over any other fast food
