Flat Top Bar and Grill

I have been here a couple of times and have never experienced what I did last night 10/25/24 was a disaster. Made a reservation for my boyfriend's bday dinner and we were sat at this little bitty table like it was a kids table. Upon walking in as people of color we were met with all kinds of crazy looks from the staff, our waitress was very dismissive and was rushing us throughout our whole meal. My bf ordered a drink that she had no idea was discontinued, not sure if she was new or just didn't care. She seemed uncomfortable serving us anyways.

I ordered the honey glaze salmon with lobster mash potatoes, salmon barely had any glaze and mash potatoes were so runny with absolutely no taste. Plus my food wasn't even hot. My bf ordered the cappelini lobster pasta which he said the taste was very overbearing with salt/lemon flavor so it wasn't enjoyable for him. I will say our cocktails were great tho, probably the only enjoyable part.

I asked the waitress if there was a birthday treat that was given for free (scoop of ice cream, slice of cake) what some other restaurants do for bdays, she looked at me as if it was unheard of and rolled her eyes, and said no, but we do have some you can buy. I told her no thanks and give me my check. I was ready to get out of there, granted it was a busy sports night with the world series & basketball games which I understand, but we were not walk ins, we had reservations and should've been treated better.

This was a surprise for my bf and this whole experience was very underwhelming, rushed and the food was a big disappointment.

Food is good but the service terrible. Nothing like watching your waiter chat up his other tables while you wait 25 minutes to order. Here’s those waters you asked for 30 minutes later. Didn’t want to touch them after watching him lick his fingers. It seems like the owners put a lot of effort into the building and menu, and zero effort into training their employees. Unfortunately good service is just as important as the room and food.

I had been fasting all day so I couldn't wait to break it at this restaurant. Upon entering, I really didn't like the 3 people standing in front of the doors. It made it hard to be seen and fitted and kinda made it hard for people entering the building.

Once seated, I ordered my drinks and food. Everything was delicious, but as soon as I got home, I think I got food poisoning because I was literally on the toilet the remaining night until 4 am. It was awful. Had to call off work today.

Nice place, food was great but lacking in vegetarian options. We read the online menu b4 deciding to go try it out bc it offered a veggie substitute. When we arrived, it wasn't on the menu and the staff informed us it was no longer a thing.
Service was a little slow considering it wasn't super busy when we arrived. But the service was good when it arrived.
It's a really nice spot, they had live music. I would definitely go back now that I know my options are going to be limited.

Vegetarian options: They do not have a veggie substitute for the burgers anymore. Limiting the selection.

Sent my friends to your establishment because of the reviews last night, and what a disappointment. Who fires a band for being loud even though it wasn't loud? Also, the "healthier" female waitress billed my friends right when they ordered because the waitress stated she was leaving, but she stayed serving all other customers throughout the evening and didnt cash them out,which coincidentally are all white. 1st time, I've heard of such unprofessionalism by a waitress. Get better staff.

Employees tend to stand together and chat when service is needed. Food is excellent! Great wine selections.

Parking: Get there before 7:00 and there's plenty of parking!

Kid-friendliness: It's primarily a bar. Witnessed a patron literally screaming at her child, calling him a f-ing idiot.
They were seated on the bench in front of the bar. It was very upsetting. I have to presume she'd been drinking to speak to her child in that manner.

Great food, awesome Cadillac Margaritas and music by Winslow made my Saturday night ???. Can't wait to go back.

Very cool atmosphere for brunch- the bathrooms had not been cleaned well and urine all over the floor. But otherwise it was a great place- really good food!

Great food - Lamb Pops and Honey Tuna. Service excellent. Kinda noisy. Good place to stop after you pick up your new Tesla nearby.
