I’m a vegetarian but will keep coming back to this BBQ joint for the sides! The candied yams and mac n cheese alone will make me a repeat customer. Friendly staff and clean spot - thank you, Gram’s!

I came I try it is nothing to write home about I am glad others had a great experience here at this restaurant I guess tonight was an off night because my food was not good

My wife and I have been here several times now, our first experience was a positive one. We Loved the Beef Ribs, they were fall off the bone tender and seasoned very well.
However! Each and every time we've gone back it has never been the same. We've always gotten the beef ribs and they have been either to salty, to dry, or just plain skimpy. We believe in supporting small businesses, especially Black and Hispanic owned businesses. And we dont mind driving some distance if the food is worth it. Our drive to Grams's is more than 20 miles from our home.
TODAY will be our last. Our cashier was Anita, before placing our order, I asked " how are the Ribs today?" Her response was short. " they're great, perfect." I then explained, " i ask because the last time here they were skimpy and not very good." She said "sorry to hear that." With an attitude of oh well. After pausing for a second and rolling her eyes, she then said..."let me ask the cook." When she returned her comment was..." the chef said they're medium." Well against my better judgement I ordered two beef rib dinners at a cost of $60.79 plus a minimum tip for a total cost of $69.91. When they were served they were Tuff and un edible, each plate had 3 ribs each, 6 in total, of the 6 only 1 rib from each plate was capable of being eaten without a fight. With disgust we packed up the remainder and walked out. My wife asked why didnt I say something? My explanation was, " we've been here several times, I did express to the cashier that we weren't happy during our past visits, it didnt seem to matter much to her. So why waste my time or money with an establishment who's employees dont care about the concerns of its customers and where the food is not consistent in its preperation. Instead I'll keep my hard earned cash in my pocket, my gas in my car and just not come back here again. Maybe they'll hear that loud and clear

I recently visited Gram’s BBQ in Riverside, California, and it was a fantastic experience! The brisket was tender and packed with flavor—absolutely great. The catfish, though, stole the show; it was phenomenal, perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and juicy inside. The greens were a delicious sidekick, seasoned just right. The staff’s advice was spot-on, helping me navigate the menu with ease. The cozy vibe of the place, paired with some great tunes, made it feel like a home away from home. Well worth the visit, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone craving top-notch BBQ with soul!

Brisket and Greens where on point ,but the Mac and Cheese ,Barf and the little golf ball thing that I guess was corn bread ,but the rest.

Me and my husband have been coming here for about 10 years the food WAS awesome but it has gone very downhill. Our food was very raw. 60$ down the drain for food that is not edible. Last time I will go to this restaurant.

Ordered online at around6:50 PM to pick up my order at 7:30PM i called before to try to place a phone order was told they no longer offer phone orders. So once i was done with my order online i head there to pick up my food im told we are out of chicken why wasnt i called before i arrived i wont ever come back this is the 2nd time ! im glad i asked for a refund horrible service

I’m going to be honest, this place had the driest ribs I have ever had. They are too expensive ($75 for 8 ribs) to be so tough and so dry. And when we got the ribs, there were only 7, so they can’t count right either. When I let them know, they gave us this rib in the picture with 90% bone. Don’t order the ribs from here

This place use to be so good 4-5 years ago. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or something but the food is now trash all the way around. Nothing is good here and when you go inside the vibe is way off. I will not be going back. Sad to see a place that once was amazing turn into a place that makes no effort to make good food anymore.

Do not order online. I placed an order for pick up through their site in clover and it was 4 hours before I wanted to pick up. When I went in to pick up no one had any idea of my order even though I had screenshots and my email receipt plus the charge on my account already. No help in trying to get my an immediate refund. Since it was close to closing didn't even get an alternative to at least try the food to swap out for anything else. First and last time trying to order from here. 😞

The service staff were very friendly and nice and a pleasure to deal with. We ordered the two meat platter where we had chicken and brisket. For me, the brisket was a touch too fatty and the chicken was just a little bit dry but overall still tasted well. Living in places like Memphis, the south and near Kansas City. I’m very particular about my barbecue. There wasn’t much bark on the brisket and the cornbread could’ve used butter or honey or something. I had to collard greens which were delicious and the mac & cheese wasn’t too bad either. We also have the okra which was OK, but I could’ve done without.

The food isn't bad, a little pricey for what it is but good. However, the service is terrible. Whoever they have managing the kitchen needs to be replaced. I waited for my food for 45 minutes, and even when it arrived, it was only half my order, forcing me to wait an additional 15. To add insult to injury, the first half of my order arrived cold, like it had been sitting out waiting for someone to remember to run it. This place isn't bad, but definitely not wait for an hour good. I recommend visiting when it's slow. Otherwise, just go somewhere else for lunch or dinner.
