Outstanding service. Hidden gem. Food was served with quality, fresh, and great presentation. Don't let the location fool you. The construction in the area isn't doing this place any justice. Check it out! You won't be disappointed.
The place is old inside and needs a remodel It was crowded and only 2 servers a hostess and the manager was helping out. The people were all very nice and were really trying to be accommodating. The food was very good our steaks were cooked perfect. My dad got the salmon and loved it. The rolls are amazing. They just need a few more servers.
Food was a 10/10 no doubt about that. Started off with the bruschetta as an appetizer and was BEAUTIFULLY plated and the flavor was spectacular. As an entree ordered the filet mignon, meat was tender and cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the buffalo steak with shrimp which was also very flavorful and cooked to his liking. The only critical thing we would say was the attention to detail they lacked. Dead flowers at the entry way, long time to get greeted, table cloth was inside out and wrinkly, condiments were dirty on the table a simple wipe down would do, and dirty tables from brunch while dinner service was going on. Place has phenomenal potential without a doubt just a little attention to detail would do wonders. Would recommend to other people. My compliments to the chef. ⭐️⭐️
our server i wish i got his name but it was a younger gentleman. he was so nice and funny i honestly really enjoyed his service.
Always a great experience for brunch at J Ds. They take care of me very well. Oscar the cook and Oscar the server are the best. Thank you guys
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and the service. Jenny was our server, and she was pleasant and delightful and knew about the menu. The food came out. It was very well prepared. We'll be going back.Really enjoyed this establishment. Location is not very accessible but well worth the drive.
Steak well seasoned and served wood platter, great side dishes and bread is to die for. Highly recommend ribeye

Second time coming to this restaurant. First time was for new Year's Eve. They had a dinner special and it was amazing. This time around was able to try more of the menu and it was fantastic. Brought the gf to celebrate our anniversary. Definitely be back again in the near future.
It's a 5-star meal in a 3-star storefront. JD's serves an excellent steak and high quality sides, deliciously prepared. The service is friendly, if amateurish, and the furnishings and decor are rough. So go for the great food (I understand they also put in an excellent Sunday brunch) but don't expect it to be fancy.

Service was good and friendly. I guess we went during an abnormally busy time which the server kept apologizing for. Waited for a little more than 1 hour for our food. Bit pricey for what you get.
I was surprised to see the location of this restaurant but this restaurant gets busy. The Steaks are extraordinarily delicious for the price we paid It was worth it. I strongly recommend 😍💯 except the cream burle the sugar coating was burned

Wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and decided to take a chance on a local steakhouse and I'm glad we did! We were greeted with a smile and we were able to sit wherever we wanted and were presented menus. Our server promptly returned to obtain our order. After bringing our drinks our server provided us with warm rolls along with butter. I appreciated the butter temperature which allowed me to spread it without tearing up the roll. I really enjoyed it!
After agreeing not to order appetizers we decided to just try entrées. From the prime dried aged cuts, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with sides being a fully loaded potato and asparagus. My husband ordered a half rack of baby back ribs with his sides being garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus.
After a reasonable amount of time our food was presented. I requested a medium cooked steak and unfortunately it was more on the rare side of doneness. I decided not to return it because I was so hungry. My steak was very tender and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor profile. I appreciate how they presented the "fully loaded" items for my baked potato and my asparagus was properly cooked.
My husband ate his ribs with a fork because the meat fell right off the bone when he attempted to pick up a rib. He said that the barbecue sauce was on the tangy side which he enjoyed.
Overall, we were pleased with our food and experience. The only two complaints I have would be having to order Pepsi because they do not offer Coke and the temperature of my steak. I specifically asked the server if I wanted a light pink in the middle of my steak how should I order and he said medium. Next time I'll order medium well and it should be perfect.
Looking forward to the next time we go and try their appetizers, soups, salads and other entrées.
