The food looked good so a couple co-workers and I went to check it out. We walked in and the place didn't seem packed, but there was no one around. We stood there for 5 minutes then someone came out to seat us and gave us menus then walked off. He didn't say he'd be back, so we kept looking around to see when he'd come back to at least get our drinks. We thought maybe they were short staffed. 10 minutes passed and still no one came by to take our order, but a family walked in and the guy came out and sat them down, and he still didn't come to our table. So we all left. We will not return.

Me and my wife love Kimchichanga! We have been going there since before they moved to the University Village location. They have a very tasty thai tea and the food is always very delicious. It's hard to choose what we want when we go because everything is so good. 5 star restaurant always.

As riverside locals of more than 15 years, I must say Kimchichanga is one of our most favorite spots. They have many vegan and non vegan options, all delicious. Their happy hour is also incredible (2 - 7p 5$ Margs!) Special shoutout to our server Ericka, we have had her multiple times and she is AWESOME!

It was suggested to make reservations, so we did. On a Saturday night, 6:15... Arrived about 10 minutes early, only to find the place was COMPLETELY EMPTY.. So, no reservation needed, clearly. Ordered our drinks, slow service. Ordered our appetizers, super slow, so ordered our meal as well. SUPER slow. Food was bland, very little flavor. Looked GREAT, but lacked everything else. The Kimchichanga burrito was like eating a plate full of grease, with little filling. But, the Fried Mushrooms and Jalapeno Bombs for the appetizers were great.
This was 20$. I repeat. This. Was 20$. I paid 3 extra dollars for “Beef bulgogi”. No idea where it is. There’s small bits of meat mixed in the rice. I basically paid 20& for a bowl of rice and an egg. Insane lol. At least I know now. Never again. Expensive lesson as far as one serving goes. (Yes I took a bite of egg and rice before taking pics. I wanted to taste it prior to reviewing.)

They are currently running a taco special on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s so I walked in and ordered to go. I tried the bulgogi and spicy pork taco. It was delicious! Also the kimchi salsa - I was amazed at how much I enjoyed my food. They also had it ready in under 5 minutes! I paid about $5 for both and they were loaded with meat, I will definitely be back!
Dietary restrictions: Having some dietary restrictions they were able to put the toppings, cabbage and salsa, on the side.
