Came in on 1/19/26 at 2:50-3:05pm a woman with dyed blonde/brown hair was helping us. She only spoke Spanish, spoke few words of English. My son that has Autism and echoella/speech disorder, he was screaming/crying a few times in the store and throwing a tantrum he just woke up from a nap in the car. The woman told my husband during the transaction “you guys have him a little spoiled” my husband responded with “he has autism and he is going to be 5 years old and doesn’t speak, he goes to speech and other therapies to try and get better” she responds with “he doesn’t look autistic” my husband responds “there’s not a certain way an autistic person looks like”. This was very disrespectful and we will never come here again. As a parent that has a child with disabilities it’s extremely hard to go anywhere with him. They are frustrated because they can’t speak or understand. I did cry on the way home after learning about this from my husband. People never usually say things to us when my son acts out, but when they do it confirms what we think a lot of people are thinking about him and us.
