I was really excited when Takos Lokos first opened because it’s close to home. However, my experience has been disappointing from the start—not because of the taste of the food, but because of how long it takes to get my order and the constant mistakes.
The first time I went, I figured the long wait was due to them being new. So after that, I started calling ahead to avoid waiting at the restaurant, but even then, I still had to wait about 15 minutes when I arrived. Unfortunately, every single time I’ve been there, they have gotten my order wrong.
After taking a long break from this place, my husband and I decided to give it one last chance today. Just like every other time, they messed up my order—I was missing two tacos out of the twelve I ordered. I should have checked before leaving, but after waiting 47 minutes, I just wanted to get out of there.
The food itself is mid, often cold, overpriced, and honestly not what a real Mexican taqueria should be. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like this place desperately needs more cooks in the kitchen and more cashiers in the front to keep things running smoothly.
Bottom line: If you go here, be prepared for a long wait, and if you’re ordering takeout, double-check your food before leaving.

When they first opened service was great food quality was great. However last couple times they forgot to give us 3 tacos from our order. We waited for 45 min to recieve an order of only tacos. No apology for the wait. This is the 2nd time this happens won’t be going back here again. From 9:20 till 10:06 was our wait. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

I would give this place a 0 if I could. There are so MANY gnats, it’s disgusting. (I ordered the Hot Cheetos Elote, Quesabirria, and an Al pastor Taco). First of all they were almost out of everything, Paper towels, Some Meats and the soda machine didn’t work. Second of all the salt shakers looked like they haven’t been cleaned in years. But the service overall was good. I don’t recommend going here.

Orders are consistently wrong when you order online. They also only give you one salsa when it’s very clear it’s an order for multiple people. Not sure what happened to this place but they are honestly terrible now.
This was my first time ever going to this place when I tell you, it was nice neat clean the young lady that took my order. Had a very nice attitude. The lady was in the back cleaning. The food was delicious. I would recommend anybody to go here and they open up early 8 o’clock in the morning I love this place thank you guys for having such beautiful attitudes cleanest neatness it was just a great experience for me and I will let my family know to go here if they want a good burrito with tender season to the bone meat And that taco just melted in my mouth delicious and my name is jonae

Waited over half a hour just to tell me they ran out of the protein that i ordered. Unprofessional and act as if they don't care about their customers. And the food isn't worth the price, especially if it's a chipotle look alike. Avoid this place and save your money.

Chorizo tacos not worth price. Meat ingredient tasted cheap and rubbery. Consome was 30% chili oil and salt. Only redeeming quality was quesabirria tacos.
