This was my second time going to Madres.
First time service was great, food was great.
Second time was seated and waited at least 30 min without a waitress coming to our table another 30 min until we left without being acknowledged at all. This was the worst service I have ever received. I will not be going back!!!!!
I had chorizo, eggs, and refried beans, chilaquiles (first time having them). Plate was delicious, not that it was out of the ordinary. It was everything I expected.
Ambiance was pleasant and welcoming.

I attended a birthday brunch at this location, it’s on a busy street and the restaurant itself is small. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes, toast, and a horchata latte. The food wasn’t the best, it arrived cold and I wasn’t a fan. The service on the other hand was great! Our server was sweet, attentive and helpful. I’m not sure I’d return to this location, only due to the experience with the food.

Food was delicious! Very flavorful, and the special coffee flight was SO yummy. The server was very friendly and helpful - she pointed out the QR code on the menu that has the monthly items. It is a bit on the pricier side, but that is expected with a brunch place, and the food was well worth it. It's beautifully decorated and very inviting. Will definitely be returning!

We waited about 25 minutes for a table and still had to go back inside to ask if it was ready. Once seated, no menus were given until we asked another server, and when our food finally arrived, we had to request utensils as well. Staff didn’t seem very attentive or welcoming, and at times even came off rude. A birthday request my friend made for me was also ignored. The food itself was just okay and overpriced, my chilaquiles were soggy and more about presentation than taste. Overall, not a great experience.

I waited 30 minutes for an overpriced waffle. The coffee was mediocre at best . The flight was fun to though. Server forgot about the table. Bathroom was stinky. Overall I can’t believe I spent my hard earned money at this place. Why is a waffle 18 dollars I don’t understand .

Unfortunately, went here today. Sat down and waited 25 minutes to get asked what we wanted to eat. There were 4 girls just sitting behind the bar chit chatting..I should have left then. I ordered a coffee ...disgusting...looks like it was made hours before..totally disgusting..I SHOULD HAVE LEFT THEN, I ordered the salmon avocado toast..I feel sick right now...how hard is it to make fresh coffee, take care of your customers efficiently , and make toast with avocado and salmon? Well if you can't make this, I think the restaurant business is not for you...try buying some vending machines and sell pre packaged snacks..my opinion.

I just think the service could've been much better. There were 3 girl workers and a male. The guy attended to me. The girls were smiling and talking but to each other. I wasn't welcomed in or sent off with a bye have a nice day or thanks for coming in. The chilaquiles I got were the birria chilaquiles $20 and $6 for a 12oz Coke. I think that's crazy for a Coke. I'm sorry I didn't leave a tip but the food was average, nothing wow. Although I liked the spiciness of the salsa on the chilaquiles that's what made them good I guess. IF I HAD HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE TODAY I WOULD'VE RECOMMEND IT AND WOULDN'T EVEN COMPLAIN ABOUT THE PRICE
