sited with the intention of trying something new. They gave a sample of the traditional egusi was exceptional, and the rice was satisfactory. However, when I ordered my meal with chicken in the egusi, was unpalatable, and the rice, which was supposed to have a smoky flavor, instead contained charcoal pieces, resulting in a burnt taste reminiscent of a cigarette. The $30 I spent was regrettable. My husband found it so unappetizing that he joked, 'I'll purchase lunch for someone in need today, rather than offering them this.'

Food was fantastic
First time ever had it and it was good and extremely filling
I hate to post this but this was the worst Nigerian food I've ever tasted. For $60 I had flavorless jallof rice, egusi and chicken and fufu that seemed like it was sitting out for a while. I also had the steak fries but there was a long black hair as a garnish. Not okay! Me and my husband paid a good amount of money for bland food. Please enhance your recipes! I will always pay the right price for great effort and delicious food. Also, I thought this place was a fancy restaurant like in the pictures however....it's inside the Moreno Valley Mall in the food court. I'm sad about this but it has to be said....please get it together!

I enjoyed the jollof rice bowl with beef and veggies. The location is in the food court of the mall.

My experience at Mama Wale’s Rice was truly unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel like I was part of their family. The warm atmosphere created by the owner made the space feel just like home. And let me tell you, the food was absolutely divine—every bite was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to come back soon and enjoy more of the amazing hospitality and delicious dishes that make this place so special.

First time trying this place. Didn't disappoint. Everything looked freshly made. I ordered fufu with stew and it was delicious! Definitely going back. I'm obsessed and I hope they stay in the mall.

The served me a spoilt egusi mixed with stew. The said the will make me a fresh egusi, but taste horrible. No napkins or paper towel, no tookpick. I came from Boston just to witness the worst nigeria restaurant. I didn't try other food, but they are bad in egusi, the just pour egusi in a cooking stew and stir it, the egusi text raw cos it was not cooked with red oil. I'm pissed $30 wasted.
