Best food ever I eat here almost everyday. The egusi Soup with pounded yam is the best I have ever eaten I crave it. I highly suggest you try this food.

Ordered a beef patty, noticed it didn't really have much inside so I asked about it. She mentioned it's the way they bake sometimes, gave me 2nd one. On the way home I opened it, same thing, noticed the meat was dried up, hard to where my fingernail barely went in. Waste of $3.50. Gave that 2nd one to the crows.

And this was at 1:30, and they open at what? 10? 11? Geez, don't think they were fresh for the day.

The place is centered in the mall food court. I tried the Foofoo with egusi and beef (spicy.) Paid $22. The bowl is barely half filled, it had 2 pieces of dried up meat. The yam or foofoo tasted old. Not worth it.

Went to this place to get egusi, called prior to coming to place my order and let the staff know I'd be there within the next 5 minutes. Nothing was ready took forever to get my dish. Not only did it take forever The whole bowl that I need $22 was half full with two pieces of beef. I've been eating Nigerian food for yours Yes everybody makes it a little bit different but this was overly greasy. I will not visit again.
Update 7/6/25 went to visit this place again and ordered okra soup with plantains The plantains taste disgusting in the okra soup was okay and it came with 3 to 5 pieces of shrimp. I wanted someone else to try the food here even though I have previously ate here and it was not to my liking but wanted to give it a second try I am disappointed again. If you want real authentic African food do not come to this place.

I'm totally pissed off because we arrived 25 minutes ( 7:35 pm ) before they closed, they closed at 8 pm and the Front Desk or the waiter told me that he couldn't serve me anymore because it was closed and I told him, but you close at 8 pm right ??? and he said yes, But I can't help you because I've already closed my kitchen. I left the place because I drove for an hour ( from Yucaipa ) and they couldn't serve me. I will never visit this place again.

This is my second time here and I wanted to give it a second chance after about a year so this time I spent a bit over $60 on food here and unfortunately I don’t feel it was worth the price based on the portions and quality. The egusi was minimal compared to the large amount of greens, and overall, the dish lacked flavor it was very bland. I was honestly disappointed. There’s definitely room for improvement, especially with portion sizes and seasoning. This is my first time reading the reviews and I noticed that many of them reflect the same concerns I had over the past few months or so and I truly hope the owner takes these comments as constructive feedback and uses them to improve the recipes. With a few adjustments there's a lot of potential to attract more returning customers.

Had the egusi soup/fufu. Very bland, very disappointed! Was hoping for some good African food locally. Still looking!

As a Nigerian, i’m disappointed. I ordered uber eats for about $40 (with discount!) just to receive rotten egusi and stale plantain. The zobo drink tasted like fermented water and everything seemed like it had been sitting for hours, despite me ordering at the first delivery hour! I will come back and try the dine in to see if maybe it was just one bad day, but otherwise, awful.

sited with the intention of trying something new. They gave a sample of the traditional egusi was exceptional, and the rice was satisfactory. However, when I ordered my meal with chicken in the egusi, was unpalatable, and the rice, which was supposed to have a smoky flavor, instead contained charcoal pieces, resulting in a burnt taste reminiscent of a cigarette. The $30 I spent was regrettable. My husband found it so unappetizing that he joked, 'I'll purchase lunch for someone in need today, rather than offering them this.'
