Really nice people came to the laundry at and got hungry and was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing market I got a carne asada burrito and tomatillos tomatoes onions. Really great 👍🏻
I spend about 1/3 of my time in Mexico and when I'm here I'm always on the lookout for great tacos, especially carnitas and al pastor. So far the carnitas at El Campeon are the best or equal to the best I've had in the USA. Several years ago I bought some carnitas to go and they had a lot of fat on them. I didn't know they still needed to be seared in a skillet and that extra fat was necessary. My ignorance. It would be nice if they served jamaica but...
I was hoping they were affiliated to El campeon taqueria in San Clemente, no luck, but staff was friendly, prices are a little more than three El campeon and the flavor is not even close, but I can see myself stopping here again and grabbing something to eat.
