I had high hopes for Mi Vida Gorda, but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the price point. I ordered the sopes, and while the toppings were fresh and the asada was decent, the base itself was thick, hard around the edges, and not as flavorful as I expected. For the cost, I was hoping for something more satisfying overall.

The service was okay—not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but based on this visit, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this particular spot.

$18 dls burrito was smaller than taco bell. Meat was dry and previously cooked. When i asked for my money back or a fresh burrito there reply was sorry. Thats it sorry and walked away. This place wont be in business long thats for shure.

Mi Vida Gorda in Riverside is a solid spot for a bite, especially if you're visiting the vibrant Food Lab. I tried their burrito, which was decent…not groundbreaking, but satisfying enough to hit the spot. The service was friendly and efficient, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

What really makes Mi Vida Gorda stand out is its location within the Food Lab. The atmosphere is fantastic, with an energetic and eclectic vibe and plenty of options to explore. Whether you're there with friends, family, or just flying solo, the Food Lab creates a welcoming environment that adds to the overall experience.

If you're in Riverside and looking for a place with great vibes and a variety of food options, Mi Vida Gorda is worth checking out. While the burrito didn't blow me away, I'd definitely return to explore more of their menu and soak up the atmosphere again.

Had burrito and guac and chips it was garbage. All beans barely any meat and guac was more like tasteless salsa. Don’t even know how this place survived this long. My son had the trio tacos he said they were good.

I highly recommend it!!
We ordered a birria pizza and honestly it was very bad, super salty, very little amount of food for what they charge, the truth is I didn't like it at all and I don't recommend it.

Stopped here for lunch, the food and drinks are made fresh to order. We loved the quesadilla and there is a good amount of meat inside. The drinks were delicious, something we will have to recreate at home.
