Mission Inn Restaurant

Excellent lunch food. The salmon was perfectly done and tasty and the service was great. The ambience is wonderful in the patio courtyard of the Mission.

Severs were great but it was out parents 40th year anniversary and the food menu was changed to a buffet.... We were pretty disappointed since we made the reservation months in advance

We arrived with a misunderstanding about our reservation. Diana, the hostess, and Patrick, the manager, listened and generously accommodated to rectify the situation. We felt heard and valued. The entire hotel and restaurants were packed, and I'm sure they were under tremendous pressure to make everyone "happy". Our table was perfect, the buffet food was good, and our server, Jacob, was excellent. The tableside Christmas carolers and Santa were a very nice and festive touch!

Festival of Lights is our holiday tradition. Ambiance 11 out of 10. Only knock this year is we were not aware of the change to buffet. We may adjust our plans next year due to this. Big play was the carolers. Staff is always friendly.

The Riverside Mission Inn restaurant is definitely a 5/5 for ambiance. The food however, was terrible in my experience. We dined the night the buffet was served but were not told that at either the time of making the reservation or at the time of confirmation. We found out the buffet would be served, instead of the regular menu at the time we checked in for our reservation. We proceeded with the $79 buffet. The prime rib was extremely tough and cold, the oysters were still frozen, the carrots were so hard I was unable to cut them with my knife, the dessert table looked like Thanksgiving leftovers and no tongs were provided to pick up the macarons/small chocolates cakes. People were using their fingers! Additionally, a 20 percent gratuity was automatically added. I tried to contact the hotel to discuss my concerns the following day. After wasting 32 minutes of my time,I finally spoke with a pleasant young lady. She transferred me to a manager and said he'd pick up my call right away. Unfortunately, my call went directly to Joseph's voicemail. I did not receive a call back! Definitely not worth the money!!!! Definitely a terrible buffet.

I was with friends and we were not greeted with a very friendly reception. We also had a reservation and had to wait 40 minutes to get seated.. the hostess was not very welcoming and we overall were not treated like we have been accustomed too at the restaurant. Food is always good though , no problem there

We loved our experience at The Mission Inn Restaurant. The outside patio is stunning, food remarkable, service is excellent and the ambiance is amazing!

Bucket list item to stay at the Mission Inn and it did not disappoint. We ate in the Mission Inn restaurant and lamb and crab cakes. Lamb was a bit fatty but very well prepared. Wine list ++

Our waitress Charlene was very sweet and attentive . She forgot to put our appetizer order in but she gave us a complimentary crème brûlée for dessert. My prime rib wasn't that great. It needed more flavor and crusted edges. It tasted a bit bland and meat was a little chewy. My husband liked his Cioppino. Very pricey for the food in a hotel. Everything in California is so expensive!

A delightful evening with my former girlfriend, (now my wife). A visit to the scene of the crime where we committed to each other about 22 years ago.

As a guest, I wasn't permitted to view and photograph the courtyard's architectural beauty because I wasn't eating in the restaurant 😤! Needless to say that my two daughters and I, a 25 year Air Force retired veteran, checked out of this hotel 🏨 and found another hotel that was more guest friendly.
