The food is really great here, it is a little pricey. Best calamari I've ever had and the rolls are delightful. The service is pretty bad though, just make sure you have plenty of time to eat there. Our server was super forgetful.

Delicious Japanese food and the menu provides many options. The service is attentive, but not overbearing.

It was clear from the moment we walked in that the restaurant was severely understaffed. There was only one server, Alan, working the floor, man aging orders, seating guests, and serving tables. Despite the chaos, he remained calm, courteous, and genuinely tried his best to make sure everyone was taken care of. He apologized for the delays and kept checking in when he could, which we really appreciated.

While the wait times were long, the effort from our server made a big difference. He was doing the job of three people and still managed to stay professional and kind under pressure. I hope management addresses the staffing issues soon—because with the right support, this place could easily be a five-star experience

We got in, and for a fancier establishment, the clientele were loud and obnoxious.

The food came out incredibly slow and when it did come, if it wasn't wrong it was not great. One in our party got the Chicken Uson soup, with a lovely addition of plastic from some plastic bag inside.

I ordered the Omakase and I left hungry, the appetizer and desert that were included were the cheapest possible on the menu.

Each sushi bite fell apart and nothing was made with care.

It's expensive for the sake of being expensive and the service is not worth the price. If you want to spend the money for good sushi you're better off driving to LA and going to Sugarfish than coming to Riverside for loud customers and bad service.

AVOID.

Left completely disappointed. Service was extremely slow.

The big issue though was finding a piece of plastic in our chicken udon. That’s a serious food safety problem.

Taste-wise, the food was okay — not terrible, but definitely not worth the high prices they’re charging though. And the environment? Way too loud. Could barely hear the person across from me.

A delightful sushi restaurant in an unexpected location. The food tastes fresh, and I would certainly return.

Excuse my TikTok influencer wanna be video but I absolutely adore this place and wanted to share it online.

This is my go to sushi bar in California now. I have purchased both the standard omakase ($80/person) and the premium omakase ($150/person) as well as some of their standard rolls and nigiri. I personally have decided the cost of the omakase is worth it for the freshness, flavor, and the location being here in Riverside rather than somewhere I have to use the 91 to get to!
The head sushi chef is so excited about what he does. Most times we show equal excitement he gives us a little extra on our omakase. He tell us where he gets each of the omakase offerings (fresh uni delivered from Japan OMG). The quality and freshness is superb. The king salmon is the best salmon I have ever had, hands down. I also LOVE the toro neki (chopped green onions and toro topped with truffle). It is one of the best things I have EVER had.

I have been to Japan but sadly that’s expensive to travel to and far away. This place consistent helps me get my sushi fix for a lot cheaper.

Service also deserves 5 stars. I have always had great kind servers here.

Highly highly recommend this spot. And no they do not offer all you can eat because the quality is much better than any place around Riverside offering all you can eat. There’s a time and place for AYCE, and a time and place for quality - this place is for good, quality sushi.

I went here with my family for Mother’s Day and although we arrived at 5pm and missed the Mother’s Day special, the food did NOT disappoint. From the Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, to the Tuna Bomb, the Lemon Roll, Tuna Loves, and the Baked Scallops, this food was just quality after quality. You can taste how fresh each piece of fish was. The Toro, Neki, Uni, Caviar bowl was alright, wouldn’t get again since we loved all the others more, but such a perfect spot and highly recommend!!

It was great lunch crowd. We enjoyed our experience which included the highest quality items from the water to the sashimi to cucumber salad actually I could continue and list every item because it was all so good. Our waitress was great but she was the sole server for entire sitting.
