I got the meal with Chikkin tenders and fries. I don’t usually eat fast food so this was a treat! It’s a 100% vegan retro diner-like spot with barstools. Great service, solid fast food served with style in the middle of the Riverside Food Lab which is a downtown food court. The environment is loud and bustling, not at all relaxing.

Worth the trip! Located in the heart of Riverside, within the Food/Game Lab complex, near a convenient parking structure (FREE 90 minute parking).
The food lab has other eateries, with Monty’s being near the center. Menu is limited to classics, but they are delicious! I’ve had them a few times before and haven’t been disappointed.
Service was super friendly and kind, even if they were understaffed! I ordered the Kale Salad w/Chick’n’ so satisfying and GOOD! I also had an order of tots, that I ended up having to take home as I couldn’t finish them. Would totally go back, but this time for strictly their shakes and floats! Highly recommend, then encourage you to stroll around or check out the arcade area.

It's not a bad place like in a dirty way I just think their food is soo bad because it's vegan food their ranch is stiff for some reason literally flip it upside down and it will stay in the cup I also paid $11 for tenders and they were 3 little NUGGETS not tenders NUGGETS the only good thing is the fries and house sauce but I really don't recommend this if you looking for good food.

This place was really good! Im not really a fan of vegan food but this, This was great. Lots of food for one meal! I got myself some chicken strips, fries and tots and a cookie. I wasnt really expecting to like it. The crazy thing is, the chicken strip tasted like chicken strip, Which blew my mind. The fries and tots were really good. The last course, the cookie, The cookie actually tasted really good! Forget mcdonalds, This is the REAL food from a box resturaunt.

We've lived in Riverside for 8 years but somehow never tried Monty's. I had the "chicken" sandwich, and my husband had a double cheese burger. We both had fries. Food came out quickly and was amazing. We'll be back for sure. If you're visiting from out of town, free street parking can be found along Fairmont and 6th.
I loveeee the Travis Barker matcha Latte Shake. It’s the almost the best thing on the planet. Burgers are bomb and the chicken sando wowzo. The hot dog is like a fun whatevah but still good.

Plant based goodness!!! Sooooo good, the tots were addicting and I could have easily gotten my fill just from them alone. The burger was very good too, I love the siracha sauce on it 😋 I didn’t get to try the drinks because the C02 for the pop was down, but it just gives me something to look forward to next time. Even my carnivore friend was impressed! Highly recommended and so glad it was a short walk from my hotel 😊
