The menu here always changes and I'm always up to try something new here each time I pop in for a visit. The Pancit is my go to craving, or the Palabok, adobo, lumpia, or the fried plantains on my plate. I'll post more as I try them. I typically like my fish more seasoned, but try the squid and there's a dish with peanut butter in the sauce that's complex and yummy. Don't forget to grab some Uber baked breads on your way out and those pouches of Guanabana/ soursop juices🤤

The lady who served us was very accommodating. Letting her know that we would be traveling for 6 hours back to Arizona, she very well wrapped our to go containers. She even gave us some freebies. Unfortunately, we missed on asking for her name, but we are very grateful for the service we got from this restaurant.

I pre-ordered lumpia. Called in the morning went to pick up at 5 just to let me know that they forgot to do and would like me to wait for 30minutes. They felt sorry YES!!! Just disappointed much!

Great food and service. I've had many of their dishes, and there hasn't been one I don't like. My favorites are their pork sisig, chicharron bulaklak, squid, pansit, and goat. Everything was so delicious. Haven't tried their lumpia yet because it's pre-order only, but I hope to try it soon.

Was in the area and saw on mapquest filipino food near by. Greeted with friendly lady. Got a combo of white rice and pork adobo . I got a drink. Had to refrain from all the filipino snacks and deserts. Couldn't believe I ate the whole thing! They give large portions too! So delicious! Cute small place with a large filipino heart. I will be going back next time I'm in Riverside.

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one to receive weird service and a high price. I usually enjoy Pinoy food and I prefer supporting local businesses, so I'm bummed to say that I don't really want to experience the same racist questions from the server and cashier again. The food is mediocre and over priced. While I was reading the menu, the cashier asked me if I was Chinese, I said no. Then she asked me where I work, and I said I work from home and she got quiet. She said she couldn't do half rice half pansit, i think because she wanted to charge me for two whole orders instead of just serving half and half like a normal cafeteria style server can. I shouldn't have bought and paid for the super greasy mostly fat logged unseasoned sinigang and lechon. I took two bites when I got home and threw it all away.

The food was so delicious! I ordered pansit and adobo to share with some American friends who had never tasted Filipino food. They loved the pansit as it was very moist and tasty. The adobo over rice was also tasty! The locale was very clean and the Ates weee so charming. I believe they were Ate Josie and Ate Violeta. Thank you!

I’m so glad I didn’t pass up this place, all thanks to Nonnie’s review with her great instructions on how to order and what to expect! I ordered the rice, pancit, fish, and goat – and let me tell you, everything was freshly made, absolutely delicious, and had just the right amount of spice. The goat? Best I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend giving this spot a try. While I can understand some lower reviews might be due to the service, it was okay for me, and honestly, the food more than makes up for it. I can’t wait to go back and try their desserts and snack breads! Definitely worth the visit!

The food is really good, but the people who work here are horribly rude. The younger ladies are polite, but the older ones will look at you with disgust the moment you walk in and give you the nastiest, most unwelcome service imagineable. Unless you're Filipino and speak fluent Tagalog, save your time, money and dignity and eat somewhere they don't make you feel less than human.

Our third visit today 08/06/2024. Cafeteria-style Filipino restaurant for quick meal choices.
Step 1: walk to the left-side of the hot table, tell server what you want - 1-item or 2-item combo meal or order ala carte in small, medium, or large container.
Step 2: point your choices on the hot table. You can also add to your orders like halo-halo for dessert.
Step 3: proceed to cash register - tell them either to-go, dine-in, or ask for to-go bag for leftover dine-in food.
I was told, this is now under new owner, management. Personnel are more assimilated and are friendlier compared to the bashful staff years back.
Hats off on the pancit. It doesn't need any lemon. It is bursting with flavors.
The Kare² is also delicious - today's kare-kare is made from pork hocks (pata). Flavor blooms after adding a tiny drop of shrimp paste to the chunk you are about to bite into.
Grilled Pork Liempo: best consumed with rice and meat is dipped in spiced vinegar. Spiced vinegar is coconut vinegar with raw diced garlic, diced onion, sliced pepper, fish sauce.
Tinolang Manok - very traditional flavor, we love it!
Vegetarian options: Ask server for vegetarian menu of the day since they often change menu items on a daily basis.
Parking: Parking lot is a bit crowded. Very busy shopping center.
