New Hong Kong Express

I would go somewhere else honestly. I don't usually leave bad reviews but let's begin...Went for lunch, place was dead (which is fine). Ordered a two entree plate, a one entree bowl, and a Thai tea boba....$34.64!!!For sure overcharged and we paid cash. The two item was listed for $10 and one item $8... idk how we get to $34 but we didn't want to argue.Ok the food, my wife got orange chicken... driest Orange Chicken we've ever had and tasted like it was reheated and olddd.I got bbq pork and come type of garlic looking chicken or pork (it wasn't labeled). It was just ok, the bbq pork was a bit dry.Portions were also just ehh. About what you would get at a Panda Express size, not like other smaller Chinese food places.Will not be back.

Pretty unsanitary place - food behind glass looks like it’s been sitting for a minute

This is one of my favorite fast food Chinese restaurants. It is on University, which despite some improvements is still a rough neighborhood. Ignore that, park right next to the restaurant or right behind it. The food is always fresh and tasty. My favorites are mushroom chicken, black pepper chicken, and mandarin chicken. I love the chow menu but my family likes the fried rice. One knock is they are very cheap with the drinks, charging for refills and overcharging for the drinks. But the food is comparatively cheap so it balances out. I go to this place whenever I am in the area. Check it out!
