I bought rasmalai from them. It was bad and tasted sour. Never buy any sweet item from them.

Not just a place to buy your genuine imported Indian spices and vegetables and refrigerated items but there is and amazing cuisine full signature homemade indian dishes. ONE OF A KIND. Great customer service.

Great selection of groceries and their in-house restaurant serves up some hearty, wallet-friendly dishes. The food tasted fresh and delicious! I also appreciated how well organized the store is.

This is really honest review…. I order food worth like $160 and like 8-9 items …… WORST food Ever had in my life …….. not even a single dish is tasty ……… very bad …….. NOT AT ALL RECOMMEND AND WORTHED. Better Try somewhere else then wasting you money for garbage food ..!! ❌❌

Real Indian Sweets taste. Try their sweets specially gulab Jamun, Rasgulla and burfi. Very delicious. The staff there is very welcoming nature. Always treat you with smile. Must visit for sweets.

Food here used to be pretty good before the new owners took over. Now everything is flavorless and watered down. We got a samosa which was just boiled potatoes in overly fried raw dough (no spices, bitter oil taste) and the chutney was so watered down that you could drink it. The groceries are also overpriced. Save your money and time, this place is not what it used to be since the new owners took over.

I’ve been a LOYAL customer of New India Sweets and Spices for quite some time and have always enjoyed their HEALTHY meal options. The food is consistently FRESH, HOT, and REASONABLY priced. The staff, who seem to be the owners, are always FRIENDLY and WELCOMING, and it’s been a GREAT place to dine.

Unfortunately, during my recent visits, I’ve encountered an issue with a NEWER staff member who seems to work in the back. From the moment he saw me, his attitude was noticeably UNWELCOMING and DISRESPECTFUL. On MULTIPLE occasions, he INSISTED that I pay for my meal BEFORE eating, which is NOT the custom of this establishment. Even after OFFERING to pay in advance, the other staff members had to INTERVENE to remind him of their usual practices, but his attitude remained AGGRESSIVE and UNCALLED FOR. This behavior ONLY seems to be directed toward ME, as I haven’t noticed him treating other customers this way.

One time, my food was LEFT on the counter instead of being brought to my table, something that had NEVER happened before. When I asked about it, the staff had to SEARCH for my meal, which had been placed in an UNUSUAL location by this same person. His PERSISTENT hostility and REFUSAL to communicate properly have unfortunately made me feel UNCOMFORTABLE and UNWELCOME, despite my previous positive experiences.

I’m DISAPPOINTED to say that this individual’s behavior has led me to RECONSIDER dining here in the future. I truly hope this isn’t an issue others face, but I have noticed a TROUBLING PATTERN when it comes to how people of RICHER Melanin may be treated.

I ordered mix veg dosa and I got masala dosa instead. I asked no cilantro and I got cilantro which I am allergic to. I waited for 30 minutes to get wrong food after placing an order 30 minutes ago. So total of hour wait after I ordered. Don’t go! So that they know how to cook. Also when I took a bite it was the most disgusting dosa and Sambar I ever had in my life

If you're looking for Hindu groceries and dining cuisine, this is a very good place.

The new owner has added non-veg selections to the combo meals. Good idea. The sweets are great. Prices are reasonable. Have tables to eat there. The owner is very friendly. Best Indian grocery store in Riverside.
