My wife and I were looking for a regular sushi spot and thought we had one here. On our second visit we arrived 10 minutes before they opened (door unlocked) and instead of seating us as their first customers for the day, they turned us away. We went to another sushi restaurant that won us over and I don't think we'll be returning to Oishii.

Very kind staff, the AYCU experience is worth it, if you bring a hearty appetite! Anyone who has had more extreme versions of weight loss surgery (like me) would probably benefit from choosing a few menu items and simply pulling up a front row seat to the mission on which others in their party are about to embark! 😁 Other reviews mentioned concerns with the yellowtail, but this product (a favorite of mine!) had zero quality concerns during my visit. Staff was knowledgeable, communicative and very patient with our questions. It was an enjoyable visit for all of us and we will definitely be back as regular patrons. Thanks so much for a lovely visit!

Stopped in while running errands because I was hungry, and I’m so glad I did! The hostess, waiter (Francisco), and chef were all amazing—super friendly and attentive. The albacore nigiri and Cajun tuna were absolutely delicious, some of the best I’ve had. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and fresh flavors. I went alone, and they made me feel really comfortable and taken care of. 10/10 recommend! šŸ™‚

I just wanted to share my experience quickly.

Closing time today is 10p. I called at 9:20p to place phone order for pick-up. Person who answered couldn’t hear me, so after a few hellos, they hung up. I thought my phone service was acting up, so I moved locations in my house & called again. Call went straight to voicemail. I wait a couple minutes & call again, but my 3rd call again goes straight to voicemail. I thought maybe my phone was acting up, so I had my partner call from their phone, & same thing, straight to voicemail. I called a couple more times, but all my calls were going straight to voicemail. My assumption is that they turned their phone off after my initial call.

I decide since I can’t get ahold of them on the phone, I’ll drive over to place my take-out order in person. I open the door to the establishment at 9:38p & the hostess says they just did last call, that they close at 10p, & they won’t be taking any more orders. We say thank you & leave.

To be fair, my 1 star rating doesn’t reflect the customer service or food, as they were polite enough & I didn’t get to taste their food, but I don’t agree with how they’re handling this business. If you’re not taking orders after 9:20p or 9:30p, that should be reflected on your Google info, so customers aren’t wasting their energy trying to patronize an establishment that clearly doesn’t want to serve them.
