I've been coming to Papa Joe's for years now and have enjoyed their food, service, and friendly staff. I brought my friend in recently to have a couple of beers, share some food and chat. We finished and asked for the check. I noticed a mistake on the check and brought it to the attention of the lady who gave it to us. We ordered a one-topping pizza instead of two-toppings, so she fixed it. Other than that, the beers we ordered seemed a bit pricey, but we paid, I left a good tip for the waitress, then left.I came back a couple of days later and told the manager that I thought the beers we ordered were too expensive. I showed him my receipt and told him we ordered two large beers not two pitchers, which is what were charged for on our receipt. So he said it was a $20 difference and would refund it back as a future credit or in cash. I asked for the cash back but I thought, what hassle! That's NOT cool to be overcharged for the beers we ordered. I encourage you to check your receipt before paying. Either the lady who gave us our check made an honest mistake or she did not care that we would be over charged for our drinks. I'm not saying I will not go back there again but it may a while before my next visit. I thank the manager for giving me my money back.

Y'all. We were in the mood for pizza, but we wanted good pizza, not little Caesar. We saw the reviews and said let’s go!Place looks amazing! The lady in the front was super nice! Even the lady that brought us the food! It’s on the pricey side BUT sooooo worth it. The pizza was super good! I got the cheese deluxe with jalapeños, SUPER good. They loaded the pizza!! Cheese pizza was really good my kids ate the whole box. Cheese bread was amazing! The jalapeño poppers were really good too. 10/10 recommend! Super good!

The so called manager was a joke. He does not have any organization skills. There was empty group of tables that were not cleaned for an hour after the people left.The pizza I saw looked worse then a store brand frozen pizza that had been microwaved. The prices were too high for what you were getting....

I just moved to Riverside just before Covid and couldn't find the perfect pizza place until my wife found this place. Now I'm coming here all the time for pizza.
We decided to get in the car and drive away from the hotel we were staying out for some local pizza. While there was plenty Downtown we opted for just a little farther out and found Papa Joe’s. It had some pretty good reviews and looked like a little shop we’d love. The parking lot is pretty busy and we drove past the pizza shop itself at first because the signage and lighting was so dark. We turned around in the lot and drove again where we saw some of the window signage. We were greeted instantly and looked over the menu for a moment. There is a smaller seating area with an arcade area as well. I even saw some signs they offer birthday party options, how fun! It was pretty busy when we arrived so we picked one of the last tables. We chose the meat lover pizza, wings, some beer on tap and soda. Service was great. The man helping us was funny, friendly, answered all of our questions and brought our food over once ready. While I don’t typically care for baked wings these were phenomenal. They were crispy on the outside, the kick was good with a hint of smoke flavor. The chicken wasn’t dry and wings good size. Best part no huge sauce mess. I don’t mind sauced sings; I love them actually, but these were the best I’ve had. The pizza came out soon after. It looked good, perfect size and flavor good. I’d of preferred a crispier crust, but every thing else was on point. The place itself looked like they were short a little help and some of the tables were piling up with glasses, plates and such, but as soon as they had a chance someone was picking up. Great stop at a local Riverside joint.
