I didn't want fast food so I came to Pepito's for something different. Today was Taco Tuesday so there was a $2.99 special in tacos (carne asada, chicken, fish, shrimp, shredded beef, or shredded chicken). So I ordered a few to try. Chips & salsa are served automatically. Chips & salsa are served automatically. The salsa was not bad, but the chips tasted a bit greasy but edible.I went to the women's bathroom, and it was pretty dark inside. Although there appeared to be MULTIPLE lights in the ceiling, only one dim light was on making all but the one stall that the light was over, very dark. I couldn't locate the light switch, so I had to go in the dark. Now, back to the food...The shredded beef (hard shell) was good. The shrimp was a bit chewy/ overcooked and had a sweet sauce on top. It was so-so. The battered fish taco was good. It also contained that sweet sauce, but I just removed as much as possible. Next time I'll request it on the side or not at all. The flavor wasn't bad, I just didn't want the sweet-spicy on my food today. The carne asada taco also wasn't bad but could have really been fire if it had been marinated much longer before cooking. The meat was tender and the portion size was very nice. I like that Pico de Gallo & guacamole were added on the plate.Service was a bit slow, although the lunch crowd was light when I arrived. It took a while to place my order and also to get the check. (Restaurant still was not busy), although my food came out quick! This was still a better alternative than fast food.

A sad desolate place, the food is tasteless without salt, the drinks are the same, they don't taste like anything, they only measure a little alcohol for you, nothing to offer is an absolute disappointment, the customers leave in a bad mood leaving more than half of their food and pay more than they should plus tax and tip..I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO A PLACE LIKE THIS, I celebrated my birthday alone and I only came out depressed..

Was looking for a taco shop but stumbled into here. Was a bit hesitant because it was a sit down but it was a Tuesday so they had a deal here. I ordered one of each and the tacos were great. The SERVICE here was fantastic. Really happy I stopped by. Great Mexican restaurant. The Shrimp taco was amazing!

1st off- I've only made reservations so far for upcoming March 21st 2024 for my father's funeral or repast, but I already can tell I've made the right choice in restraunts for my family of 20-25 ppl.Rosio- The Owner took my reservations over the phone with impeccable accomodations from seating to the menu. I arrived on time for my reservations. The seating staff member told me my name wasn't on her list and she would have to go in the back to go get it. I specifically asked for seat away from the kitchen and away from the bathroom. She sat me in a very hot area. I asked if I could move from that area and she told me to get my menu and chips and move to where I like without offering me assistance. My order was not as I ordered and had to go back.
