Second time coming here. Food was really good when we first came, around when they first opened. This night, however, the food was ok. Mainly, the brisket I ordered in my pho was pretty tough, tougher than the rare steak my husband ordered. We really liked the eggrolls though! Averaging both visits, I still gave this a 4 but this latest experience was more 3 stars. Also, it was hella warm inside. They need to ventilate the place.

Love this place! Great value and tasty pho! I got a regular size pho, only around $13!! Wish you guys were in LA. Our waiter was very friendly as well.
I discovered Pho 81 about a year ago, and I have eaten there several times since then. I have only ordered pho so far, and it's always very good. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean and well appointed.

We drove all the way down to another Phó place on La Sierra and California (across from Fast Five Pizza), but as soon we approached the door 45mins before closing, they had already placed a "take out only" sign on their door...but I'm low-key happy they did, because I wouldn't have found this NEW place! LolNow back to my review about this place:As soon as i walked in i was immediately greeted with a friendly smile. They let us choose our own seating and even brought courtesy waters as soon as they approached our table. I truly appreciated that. *Customer service 5/5 (friendly & attentive)*Cleanliness 5/5 (clean floors & restroom)*Ambience 5/5 (bright, full of plants, and seating options were nice)*Music 5/5 (loud enough to listen to, but also low enough to be able to have a conversation with your party)*Food 5/5 ( delicious, flavorful, and size portions were good!) This review is overdue but I've been to just about every Pho place in the IE, OC and San Gabriel valley and this place pho 81 has bar far the best Pho around! There pho is literally a bowl of full of Love, Rich, aromatic and full of flavor. The service is amazing very family Oriented, staff makes you feel right at home! The ambiance is great! If your in a bad mood you leave happy and full lol My go 2 is the #1 with eggnoddle! If you're in the area stop by you won't regret it!
