Our overall dining experience was great! Our server, Melissa, was super friendly and attentive. The wings and pork chop were delicious!
Dinner for 2 with an appetizer and 2 drinks, $140 including tip. Nice for a Special occasion.
I ordered a Cranberry Walnut salad with chicken. When the salad came there weren't any walnuts. There was so much chicken I felt like I was eating a bowl of dried out chicken instead of a salad. If you're going to charge $28.00 for a salad then it should look and taste like salad.
Had a birthday dinner here....food was cold, salad was wet, server had an attitude and blamed the cooks, and waaaay overpriced. Spent nearly $100 each when two of us had sliders, and we brought our own champagne!

Just had an awesome experience at Probation in downtown Riverside. The whole place has a cool, chill vibe and the crew working there is amazing. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles and made to feel welcome.
Our server was incredible and took great care of us the entire night. I started with the grilled shrimp appetizer — absolutely delicious. The flavor was spot on, and the sauce had a perfect little kick to it. For my main course, I had the Chilean sea bass, and it was cooked perfectly. I paired everything with two delicious old fashioned cocktails that hit the spot.
My wife had the butternut squash ravioli along with two margaritas, and she loved every bite. For dessert, I went with the butter cake (perfect choice), and she had the apple pie.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great food, great service, and a super relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely would not come here and give them my business. They discriminate against guests and the manager Alyssa has no clue how to run a business. Makes up rules that apply to some guests and not others.
For a very simple conclusion: Do not go here. Your money can be spent at so many other establishments where you and your guests will be treated fairly.

What Prohibition is running is less a restaurant experience and more a bait and switch, dressed up as an event.
My girlfriend and I attended their themed party two weekends ago — in full costume — because the flyer explicitly promised a “$500 prize” for the best costume. We spent time, money, and effort showing up for what we thought was a well-organized event. Instead, we walked into confusion and misdirection.
No one on staff even seemed to know a contest existed until a server escalated the question to someone named Melissa, who eventually confirmed I’d won. She took my information and promised to follow up the next day about the prize. That was the start of two full weeks of evasive behavior, unanswered messages, changing pickup details, and one absurd excuse after another. Each time I tried to finalize details, I was met with a new story — including one employee saying the contact person “no longer works here.” When I finally called out the inconsistency, Melissa became defensive and unprofessional.
I then reached out to the supposed owner, Danny, expecting a level of accountability. Instead, he distanced himself entirely — claiming he’s not really involved in the operations of the business he publicly lists as his own on LinkedIn, and that he was “traveling abroad” and couldn’t be bothered to deal with the issue. His solution? He directed me back to the very person whose disrespectful behavior had prompted me to reach out in the first place.
Let’s call this what it is: false advertising to get people in the door, followed by an utter lack of accountability when confronted. The “contest” was clearly nothing more than a marketing ploy to lure paying guests with no real intent to deliver on the promise.
Any business that promotes events, collects contact information, and then dodges their own commitments operates in bad faith. And any owner who refuses to take ownership of that behavior shows you exactly what kind of culture he’s running.
In short, if the ownership doesn’t seem to care about their business, why should we?
Edited to add after business response:
(1) Regardless of who runs the local contests, one would think the alleged owner would at least express any semblance of remorse for such a difficult experience a customer may have had with their business. My review was less that I expected Danny to rectify the issues and moreso that I was disappointed in his attempt to completely separate himself from the experience instead of offer any words of reassurance or assistance. (2) Again, at this point, the gift card is a moot point. My review was aimed to highlight the unprofessionalism experience with your staff. Receiving the gift card (nearly two weeks later) does not undo that experience. (3) Even your response to this review is no less of a sham. You clearly have my contact information as you mentioned you have record of me receiving the gift card, but instead of reaching out directly you cower behind the business profile, without leaving your name, and suggest that you need my contact information posted on a public review site. I hope any consumer can see right through this façade and doesn’t buy any of what this charlatan is peddling.

We were disappointed here. The food was just ok , and service sub par. All of our food came out at different times. The servers themselves were very nice , but it seemed like the communication between kitchen and server was not working. I probably wouldn't return. Very expensive , for a sub par experience.

Wasn't aware of the 90mins brunch limit. Music was good drinks were good overall would go back again.
We had a lovely date night . The food was tasty the service was great and the love entertainment was excellent. We had a great experience
Cool chill vibes with friendly staff. This spot is going for a modern speakeasy kinda vibe. Good drinks although some bit under severed. Food quality is fair, the Salmon was a bit on the dry side, the appetizer plate (Brussel Sprouts) was the highlight. Excellent customer service.. 👌 Next visit might be a good time to try the Delmonico Steak..

Went here before the performance at the Fox Theater. It was a busy evening downtown, but we enjoyed sitting outside and watching all that was going on. Our server was very attentive, but not annoying. The food and drinks were great. Would recommend.
