This place has horrible service, Me and my bf went during my lunch break from work. We waited over an hour and never got our food, I had to go back to work so I didn’t get to eat. They didn’t even give us a menu when they sat us down. I seen people posting them on social media and they look well served but they gave us plastic cups with water. I highly don’t recommend this place.

Pretty active place for a weeknight! We visited on a Taco Tuesday and were clued into some of the taco deals and happy hour deals. I ordered asada Cali fries and some other members of my party ordered beer, cocktails, taquitos and plenty of tacos. There was an above average wait time for everything.

I received my Cali fries with al pastor meat, which I had not ordered. I did not want to ask to send it back, because I feared an even longer wait for the correct order. I also did not want to have them waste and toss out any food. I'd already observed other members of our party wait for inconsistent (both long and short) periods of time for their food and beverages. Things like getting cocktails before something simple like a canned domestic beer.

We all pretty much enjoyed our food and drinks on the whole, once it all arrived. I want to give credit to the fries, because my Cali fries had some crazy strong papitas keeping their crunch in the moat of melted cheese they were floating in. It was like a french fry caldo.

This place is under new ownership and there is no longer merch, a mural, art or vinyl records for decor. A couple members of the party had issues with their bills and our server was responsive to correcting any pricing issues. Not bad! I'd try some of the Asian fushion food next time because that is newer to the menu.

Parking: It is downtown Riverside, so be prepared to park some distance away and to walk to this restaurant. It is not located off the main street, you have to walk into the plaza area. It is a popular spot, and there is a big mix of free and paid, street and lot parking all around for a few blocks in all directions.

Wheelchair accessibility: This is located on a first floor, and there are no steps. Pretty wide open entrance and easily wheelchair accessible.

I went there after a bad day at work and asked one of the servers whether they like the birria noodles. They said, "Yeah, it's good," so I spent almost 40$ on that and their mochi ice cream. The kochi ice cream was 3 mochi balls with melted whipped cream, and the burrito noodles were so nasty they made me throw up. I tried asking for a refund or an exchange, and at first, they said no. The lady helping me was nice enough to advocate for me. I got two free chicken. Tacos, after they originally tried to only give me 10% off my next purchase. I spent almost 40 dollars of my money on food that made me feel horrible and didn't even get an equivalent refund or exchange on my items. And the chicken tacos were gross :,(. The entire time, I sat there waiting for my tacos, and I felt horrible, the manager and my server were understanding but the owners made me feel so bad.

This place sucks! Food is trash and over priced and drinks are watered down. GM Bell is extremely rude and unprofessional. Won’t return, others avoid at all cost!

I dined in and went at a time with few customers. Staff was polite and attentive. Our table was clean and there was live music. Unfortunately, we had an awkward seating arrangement. The table were sat in was infront of the stage which resulted with some people with their backs to the band and a hard time communicating with our waiter. Unfortunately, our waiter informed us that they didn't have any agua frescas available at the moment. As an appetizer we ordered the Viet Pizza which was alright and was brought to us in about 15 minutes. As an entree I order the Mexican Chili Crisp Noodle and my friend ordered the Birria Noodle. I liked the cucumber on my dish but the noodles were only ok and honestly not worth it. The birria Noodle was a good portion but also no great. I liked the Pork Bao Buns which are what got me to finally come in person but everything we ordered wasn't good enough for us to want to come back. We also noticed the the menu and interior are completely different from photos online so I'm guessing it's under new management maybe. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place for the food at the moment and do not plan on visiting again. You can find the new menu on their website.

walked in & immediately felt anger from this waiter. brought us our water as me & my girlfriend (we’re both girls) started to settle in & we notice attitude from the server increase as me & my partner held hands. we were waiting for our friends who are a mlm couple & as soon as they sat down with us holding a bouquet of flowers the server became even more hostile and rude. felt kind of rushed to order & when food came out it was not at all what we imagined. the prices for some chilaquiles were like $19 !!!! i got taquitos & it was $10 FOR THREEE MEASILY TAQUITOS??!! i can’t. my gf got 2 shrimp tacos which were small and kind of soggy, it was $13! the menu does not specify amount so forgive us for things portion sizes wouldn’t be that if a kids meal. at some point the server who was first helping us left & someone else was helping us, he was a very sweet young man & when food was dropped of the first guy brought us over our last dish & as he set the plate down he said “we’re just gonna let you guys eat” & i don’t know what was meant by that but he proceeded to walk back and forth through the restaurant & his vibes were just so off. he never asked us if we were doing okay despite asking tables next to us. the food was subpar & definitely not “mexican” at all. idk what this establishment wishes to accomplish with their rinky dink hipster esque aesthetic & ridiculous prices & rude service. but just know that they will charge you an arm and leg for some food you will not enjoy! let’s hope they use they money to up their bathroom hygiene or to patch up the hole in the ceiling. anyways 0/10.

The lady in the register with the sleeve tattoos has a really bad attitude for starters. She has no customer service! We ordered our food at the register and paid for it. Once we were done with our food, she came up to us, saying she cancel the payment and recharged with an additional fee of 18% cause we sat with other people and made it a bigger group. We understand that if we may have missed a sign that said a group of 6 or more, there would be an additional charge. She said it in the rudest, belittling and most ghetto way. She could have said it politely and said she would need to cancel the previous payment and recharge us. Her actions were not appropriate for the children in our group. She ruined our day, don't let her ruin yours. Choose another place!

This place feels dishonest. We ordered food for a party of 5. This is a go to the counter and order food then sit down on your own restaurant, the staff just carries food from kitchen to table but does not serve you like a sit down restaurant. As it appeared not too busy and good atmosphere we told others it looked good, these were others who were looking for a place to eat. After we were done eating and going to leave the cashier tried to say the credit card charge original order did not go through and she wanted me to sign and swipe again. I looked and she was trying to add a 18% gratuity saying we are part of a whole group and together even though ordered separately at separate times and separate tables. She already said that to the other party as well and charged them a 18% gratuity after they ordered. She did not explain any of this until I started to question that it looked different from the charge I paid earlier. We had two separate tables. This experience felt like a scam and a lie. We had already ordered and even ordered another side again at the order counter. Then when we are leaving the cashier at the counter said my card did not go through. 1 hour later. She lied I will never come back here again. Even asked if we could talk to owner. Rachel the owner she said it was a city thing to charge the gratuity and she would not listen to how we brought her extra business. She did not listen to how we are sitting at separate tables. I would not recommend this place because dishonest feeling and make me question what else they could be scamming people on. I will never go back.

The food is not great and they will try to over charge you. They use the city as an excuse and when question they try to gaslight you and say your being rude just for asking them. Be careful and bring cash when sinning in to make sure they don’t try.
