Romano's Chicago Pizzeria

Used to be one our favorite places. The food was generally great. This last time however was a massive disappointment. The food quality took a massive dive the tortellini tasted like it was the packaged frozen kind from a grocery store & the sauce tasted like the base was out of a jar. The calzones used to be nice, crispy & fluffy; this time the bread was as thin as a tortilla.The clams in the clams & mussels were 1/2 the size of what they have been every other time we've ordered them. The service over all was subpar. As a long time patron, I'm highly considering make that my last visit especially considering it's over a 25 it used to worth the almost hour drive it takes me to get there.

Put in a order online, which doesn't matter to them . Poor customer service never again .plus doesn't offer anything for their mistakes. Sucks

We had a get together after a funeral here. They served everyone timely and very professionally. One server took care of everyone and we were seated outside. They did everything excellent.

What happened to this place. The pizza wasn't cooked all the way. The lettuce jn the salad was pink n soggy. The pasta wasn't cooked all the way. The ranch tasted sour. Grossss

I had the Gnocchi Alla Thomasino , it was pretty good :) this is the portion you get for $21. will come back again. Everything I've tried from here so far has been good. It can be a little bit pricey, but the quality is undeniable.

Football, lobster ravioli, pizza, and the fam is the best combo but the Happy Dads and the staff keeps us coming back for more!

Came here just to say that they have a great bartender. I really needed an espresso martini, they don't make them but the bartender offered to try with the ingredients he had. Whatever he made tasted great. The cherry on top though was that he stood by and asked me if it was okay otherwise he would try to adjust. He wore a hat backwards. A+ for effort and outcome.

They forgot our order so made us late to the movie,then rushed to make the pizza which was burnt on the edges and a Lil raw on the dough with to much with wayt to much marinara on top like it was rushed,I was really looking forward to a Chicago style pizza and was highly disappointed,pizza was 42$ btw do better!

Order was placed thru uber. One item was forgotten about. So instead of asking g for a refund or to get re delivered. I called in about the issue to see if it was forgotten (answered yes they had it) so I drove down to pick it up…. the same person that answered the phone call seemed to be strung on some type of substance eyes dilated acted like he did know what I was talking about had no answers if my food was cooked or not.
Moral of the story just don’t order here let it close down like the other Romano’s
