Good food, only complaint is the seats against the wall are very uncomfortable on your bottom since it’s just wood. Decor in there is kinda nice.

I went today to get some beef pad Thai and was very surprised despite all the positive reviews to say the food tasted very bland and sad, no taste at all and I was even given a soy sauce and a chili packet which I put on the food but it somehow barley made a difference. The beef tasted rubbery and chewy with an odd after taste. I was even thinking of just throwing the food away until I was reminded of the fact that I paid 17 dollars which is heavily overpriced for this meal. I hope this place gets it together next time I'm still upset about my 17 bucks being wasted and with that heavy price it will be hard to come back.

Sorry but it was nasty. Ate half my food and they sent out brown rice when I asked for white. Should have got white rice, now I got acid reflux and regret spending my 16 bucks here. With all due respect the service and atmosphere was intimate and inviting but the food was definitely not it. My friend had a bite of my food and let’s just say it was just one bite. His food looked decent tho. Felt like I’d give my honest opinion beings I paid for it. Good luck to you

I checked out Royal Orchid Thai in Riverside after a friend recommended it. I think they recently renovated the place—it looks kind of cute inside.
But here's the thing: they didn’t have the AC on during the summer, which made it pretty uncomfortable to sit and eat.
As for the food, it was okay overall. The flavors were decent, but most of the dishes were a bit too sweet for my taste.

Best Thai food in Riverside! My husband and I are vegan, and I am sensitive to garlic, and they always happily make our dishes to our specifications. The food is always flavorful and has a cleaner, fresher taste than any other Thai food we've had in this area (and we've tried several other Thai places in Riverside over the years). We normally get take-out, and Nina is wonderfully friendly and sweet when taking our order and at pick-up (and on the rare occasion when we actually eat there, she always provides service with a smile, even when the restaurant is super busy!). It's a very small space and rather easily overlooked when driving past it, but do yourself a favor - if you haven't tried this little gem of a place, do so!

The drunken noodles weren’t nearly as tasty as the ones I’ve had at other Thai restaurants. When I asked for more flavor, they did add some, so the service was attentive. However, the food overall didn’t taste fresh, it seemed like it had just been reheated and even had a “fridge taste.”. I hope they would change this in the future!

Very nice little place for Thai food. The lady serving me was lovely. I find the pad Thai at some places too sweet but it was great here. Would recommend

After checking out UC Riverside, we decided to grab some takeout from this Thai spot that had rave reviews. The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

We ordered Pas Thai and Tom Yum, the food is pretty authentic.
The server is really nice and caring.
The atmosphere is a little awkward, the rest was fine.
Will visit again.

Loved how small, intimate and friendly this restaurant is - wonderful food and super smiley owner serving us. Food looks and tastes amazing. A hidden gem and so many people coming here for take out. Prices are super reasonable for large portions (at least to me English eyes). Note that the restaurant does NOT have a liquor licence.

We were seated at a table with insufficient lighting, which made it a bit uncomfortable. We ordered the Thai basil minced pork, but the server informed us that only sliced pork was available. Unfortunately, the flavor not even same as Thai basil minced pork. While we were disappointed with that, the pineapple fried rice was delicious. The green curry, however, could have been richer in flavor.
