I gave birth at RCH 3 weeks ago and must say it was an awesome experience! From the time I went into labor until the moment I was discharged, it was all such an amazing experience. My nurses took awesome care of me and Dr. Jennifer Prestifilippo made sure that I was informed every step of the way and helped me birth as smooth as possible. Special shout to the awesome nurses that helped me to push and comforted me during my most vulnerable state. I'm forever grateful. Special s/o to my awesome nurses, Brooke, Ashley & Marilou as well as CNAs Leo & Maria. Thank you to the special EVS person, Liz, for always coming in with such a big smile and warm spirit. To the nurse manager Auroa, thank you for checking on me during my stay. This truly an ideal birthing place šŸ’–

I’m here now. I’ve been screaming in pain for most of it. I had one nurse yell at me for falling. Generally speaking you’ll leave made well aware you were an inconvenience.

My husband has been in the hospital for a week and never was able to see a urologist face to face. I (wife) was able to talk to one over the phone. But they never came to assess his condition. He came in with 6.3 hemoglobin due to bleeding blood clots and blood in urine. Had 2 blood transfusions. After a week he is at 7.5 and yet no Dr around. Very disappointing and unacceptable for the patient. He fell 2 times at home a week ago due to low hemoglobin and now I’m afraid to take him home. Urologist I spoke to said he could not due cystoscope because this is a trauma hospital!?!? Very frustrating to say the least.

ER experience- came with my stepfather, it was/is a busy facility that I’m sure most don’t realize has a huge ER. (So be patient) The caregivers are wonderful. They listen to EVERY detail the elderly patient feel like saying. Never rush and never try to pass off anything that isn’t their specialty. I am just sitting with him and the nurses keep asking if I need anything after checking on the patients around me. Not necessary but, very considerate.

This hospital does not allow family members to see patients that are in critical condition even when they are requesting their presence. Why? Because they are under age and I will quote ā€œ in school and around germs. ā€œ Nevermind the fact that some children are homeschooled, can wear a mask, and let’s not forget that your hospital is full of more germs than anywhere any person could possibly go. If any other family is in critical care, I will remove them from this prison and find an appropriate hospital. Please, save yourself from Sally, who will not advocate for your family as liaison at all.

We are (intended) parents and our baby girl was born in the Riverside Community hospital. The entire staff was very much caring and absolutely helpful before, during and after she was born. We definitely recommend the Riverside Community Hospital - thank you very much for this great experience!!

I have been in ER for 6 hours and not seen a doctor for my 80 year old mother. Kidney drain tube clogged and we think she has a kidney infection. And we continue to wait.

I went in for surgery January 2023 for a rare condition of my bladder and colon called colovesicul fistula. I was treated by Dr Aras Emdadi and couldn't be happier. Dr Emdadi and the entire medical staff did an amazing job from the time of check in to my release. My check in at the G-Tower did not take long and the process was smooth. All the nurses and doctors were comforting, respectful and attentive. My recovery from surgery went well and was discharged within 3 days. I'm impressed with my experience and my family also had a comforting experience. Thank you Dr Emdadi and the rest of the medical staff, keep up the good work. ā˜ŗļø???ā€ā™‚ļø

Their fast track system is amazing! I really don’t understand how other hospitals don’t follow or implement a fast track. Every time I’ve gone I know exactly what’s going on, how long I’ll wait and they start treating you immediately! The whole time you’re there 2-4 hours you are being treated and checked in all at once. I love Riverside Community Hospital and all the doctors and nurses are amazing! Thank you.
