Great food, especially the tonkatsu, is reasonably priced. The location is perfect, and the best thing is that they're open 24/7!

Food was cold. Ramen should be warm and hot. Nothing special unfortunately. It lacked flavor. The staff was really nice but the food wasn't worth it

I used to almost live out of this place. It’s full of art, has so much personality and always hits the spot.

Their broth is so warm and rich, and their fried rice is the perfect consistency. Be warned their spicy isn’t very spicy, but it doesn’t advertise to be either.

I will say that while the service is usually extremely quick and kind, following cute instructions I would leave them for my girlfriend at the time, it’s not very consistent, and sometimes I would unexpectedly end up waiting for a while for my food.

Parking: First 30 minutes are free, but afterwards you have to pay like a dollar or two per hour. If you’re there at night (it’s open 24/7), parking is completely free.

I’ve been here dozens of times and I doubt I paid more than $10 over that whole time

I thought the reviews were accurate and gave this place a try to ring in the New Year. Unfortunately, the worst ramen I've ever had. Were those spaghetti noodles? The atmosphere at 12am is a hard no. Overall my most confusing New Year yet.

My first time here after co workers and friends telling me to try it. It was good. I got to say the rice was good. The soup was great too. My son say 3/5 wife says 4/5 and I say 5/5 my son said chicken was a little chewy, my wife loved the rice. I loved the fact that it’s open 24hrs. They have different drinks. Japanese style atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. The place is clean. They have a bar. I would recommend it. Try it out. You want late night food this is the place for cold weather. Winter food.

Kid-friendliness: My son likes it.

After getting my food corrected 3 times it was really great. The food itself was the only saving grace. The service was absolutely horrendous. The girl touching her hair 6 times with gloves on the putting together people's trays was top tier. The seating was a jungle. People purposely invading your space in hopes you'll leave faster for them to sit. Had some girl shake her hair over my food. I literally have never been so enraged over a 100 dollar meal before. Will not be coming back.

Saku Ramen is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise! From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt both cozy and vibrant. The decor strikes a perfect balance between modern aesthetics and traditional Japanese touches, creating a delightful dining environment.

The menu is a treasure trove for ramen lovers, showcasing a diverse selection of broths and toppings. I opted for the Tonkotsu ramen, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The rich, creamy broth was a symphony of flavors, perfectly complemented by tender noodles and an array of fresh ingredients. Each spoonful was an adventure, and it left me craving more.

What truly sets Saku Ramen apart is the attention to detail. The staff was incredibly friendly and passionate about the food, eager to share their favorites and answer any questions. Their recommendations truly enhanced the experience, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.

I also indulged in their delicious gyoza, which were crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside. A must-try side dish!

To finish off the meal, I couldn’t resist the matcha dessert, which was a delightful end to a fantastic dining experience.

Overall, Saku Ramen exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re a ramen aficionado or a first-time visitor, this restaurant is a must-visit in Riverside. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Very noisy place, ramen is OK, but they don't accept cash, only credit cards, and charge 3%
