Shrimp and grits was bomb š£. Definitely a must try if you are into Louisiana cuisine. Shrimp was very flavorful and the grits was nice and creamy. Super hearty. Im never able to finish the whole bowl in one sitting. I think it's enough for two people. Their lemon pepper fried chicken and Cajun fries and chicken egg rolls are also super yummy. Definitely a place to check out. Next time I will try their shrimp boil and ramen.

The food was okay overall. I ordered the 1-pound shrimp, and the portion size was generous with plenty of shrimp, which I appreciated. However, the flavor felt like it was missing something, and the seasoning didnāt quite stand out. I was also surprised that it only came with two red potatoes, which felt a bit light for the meal. With a little more flavor and better sides balance, it could be much better.

I am not always one to leave a review unless a company blows my mindā¦ this is the place to do it! I personally have been coming to shrimp shack in food lab since I was a little girl and every time I visit from out of state, I make sure to stop here every time! Not only are the owners so inviting and sweet. They go out of their way to perfect every dish out of their kitchen. Tonight was a release of this new Hawaiian roll dessert they created. I was honored to be the first one to try it. Let me tell yall!!!! Out of this world. If I could give more stars, I would. Keep up the amazing work! Iāll be back soon!

That shrimp po boy mu god it hit the spot wasn't even expecting to stop there but went out randomly with my wife decided to try few difrent foods from the food labs and the po boy was amazing the shrimp boil was decent also

Great staff! Great food and a good place to eat with many choices. The Po-Boy was the perfect portion. Toasty bread, crunchy fried shrimp! Price was reasonable as well! Chicken tender basket was fantastic too!

I recently tried this place and overall, the food was delicious! I ordered the matcha beignets, but unfortunately, they gave me the regular beignets by mistake. I only realized when I got home, and it was too late to go back. The regular beignets were still tasty, but I was a bit disappointed since the matcha version was a little pricier.
The Shrimp Shack food was delicious, specially the famous shrimp taco. I would definitely come back again.

I saw the menu listed Cajun Shrimp and grits and I had to try it. Well I don't enjoy too spicey of food so I asked to not have the Cajun spice- they could do that so yes - YUM. We knew there were beignets so we got an order of 4 bigness too. Another great choice. The shrimp and grits was buttery, smooth and savory with the cheese, chopped peppers, onion and andioulle sausage. The beignets definitely were hot and fresh. The beignets were puffy, lightly sweet and bisquitty. Biting into the beignet it was puffy but also dense in a good way, it had substance. Always use caution with the powdered sugar. So yummy. I would order both again!
