Shrimp and grits was bomb 💣. Definitely a must try if you are into Louisiana cuisine. Shrimp was very flavorful and the grits was nice and creamy. Super hearty. Im never able to finish the whole bowl in one sitting. I think it's enough for two people. Their lemon pepper fried chicken and Cajun fries and chicken egg rolls are also super yummy. Definitely a place to check out. Next time I will try their shrimp boil and ramen.

The food was okay overall. I ordered the 1-pound shrimp, and the portion size was generous with plenty of shrimp, which I appreciated. However, the flavor felt like it was missing something, and the seasoning didn’t quite stand out. I was also surprised that it only came with two red potatoes, which felt a bit light for the meal. With a little more flavor and better sides balance, it could be much better.

I am not always one to leave a review unless a company blows my mind… this is the place to do it! I personally have been coming to shrimp shack in food lab since I was a little girl and every time I visit from out of state, I make sure to stop here every time! Not only are the owners so inviting and sweet. They go out of their way to perfect every dish out of their kitchen. Tonight was a release of this new Hawaiian roll dessert they created. I was honored to be the first one...
