I had breakfast at Simple Simon’s and it was great! The food was delicious and served fresh. I sat outside on the patio, which was nice, although a few homeless people came by and ate leftover food from tables — it made the experience a bit uncomfortable. On the positive side, there was someone singing Spanish music, and it really added a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a good breakfast spot with tasty food and pleasant vibes.

First time here and I was not disappointed. I got here in the morning just before rush hour. The croissant egg sandwich so good. Will definitely be back.

Maybe the staff was just really high? I've looked forward to trying this place out, heard great things, then I got my food.... the toast was burnt and cold so my butter wouldn't spread, my eggs had uncut onion, they forgot my bacon, when I ordered the bacon plate, and the fruit I got instead of potatoes provided me with green oranges. Luckily there were edible grapes. And all this for $20. Just sad. I hate writing reviews like this, but when the food I've heard such great things about lands like this, I feel like I gotta warn people. By the way the bacon arrived half cooked and I shouldn't of eaten it but needed protein.... I've been sick since.

I tried to dine in but I had to change it to take out. Extremely Disappointed with my Food. I got the Smokey Grilled Cheese and added Chicken. The cheese was barely melted, the onions were not grilled, no smokey flavor, no seasoning, the chicken was bland and flavorless. I waited 30 minutes. I had to get back to the courthouse and I was foeced to eat while I was walking. The potato salad was another disappointment, way too much mustard. Overall disappointed and not at all Satisfied. I called and no one answers. I want a refund!

We come to Riverside every year and this place is phenomenal!! The staff are super nice, the food is INCREDIBLE, and a great place to eat in downtown riverside.

Waited in line for 25 minutes to order breakfast. As soon as I got to the counter, I was told it was not being served, 5 minutes past 11 am. Slow worker and inefficient order taking led to a complete waste of time and me missing out on my meal. Never coming back .

Cheese Danish tastes like the baker didn’t wash their hands/change gloves in between folding doughs. Weird flavors of rosemary, oregano, and lemon? On a cheese danish? Absolutely awful
