I was excited to try the brisket tacos!!! They were terrible!! The pieces of meat were mainly fatty chunks imbedded on barbecue sauce accompanied by a greasy coleslaw. The taco looked like a greasy mess!! The only authentic thing to a taco was the corn tortillas!!! I suggest to use a slim cut of meat with a pico de gallo and a fresh coleslaw with an option for us to get the barbecue and coleslaw sauces! That taco recipe needs a taco expert intervention!I was offered a courtesy macaroni and cheese entree and was also distasteful.

Place was clean. Not very busy. Food was overcooked dry meet. Side of corn was topped with chewy not crispy fried onion and in fact it was more fried onion than street corn. Mac n cheese is really good. Service was not unfriendly but there were no expectations of anyone there who might ever go above minimum help. I heard the vegan sandwich was really good. And a salad was at my table that looked lovely. Maybe if I had chosen differently....

Loved it! We tried a few different things from the menu. Everything was delicious. It would be nice if they invested in some outside heaters tho. Our party was too big for the inside and it was a very cold night. đ

We drove from San Diego to eat brisket. We ordered ahead around 6.30 pm to pick up at 8 pm. Then we got a call from the restaurant around 7.45 pm saying they are out of brisket. Okay, we changed the order to smashburgers. We arrived there at 8 pm to pick up our order. They told us that the order will be ready in 10 minutes. I want to ask, what is the point of having order ahead option if you wonât be able to supply what is ordered and if you wonât be able to provide it at the promised time? It is just breaking the trust your loyal customers had on you. I am fully aware one customer wonât change anything for your well established business, one person wouldnât mean anything for you but this place meant a lot for us. I am just disappointed.
That said, the food, the employees, the atmosphere everything else is always perfect. They deserve more than 5 stars.

There is a reason I generally do not give tips on take out. The cashiers/servers were too lost in their conversation to notice I was ready to order and they were too eager to get back to gossip. I was asked what sauce I want, mild, medium or hot. I said medium and received none. Food was great, just don't tip for takeout. If dining in, reward good service if warranted. I cannot get my tip back.

Had the Chicken Burrito, Hot Cheeto Balls and Smash Burger, secondary options due to the brisket not being ready but luckily it was not secondary in flavor. Burrito was flavorful and chicken was moist. The Smash-burger was a delight and the Cheeto balls had creamy and well seasoned Mac and cheese on the inside. Hopefully next time we can try the brisket

We did not smell smoke anywhere (I smoke at home, often, and it is unavoidable and unmistakeable!)
I was not interested in trying the brisket, it is often overpriced and underwhelming. So I tried the smash burger, thankfully mine was not smashed whole like another posterâs. I tried to order the brisket macaroni balls, but they were out of stock??? (Ok, I did want to try the brisketâŠ) They were out of ALL the macaroni options??
So then, I ordered the waffle cut fries (what goes better with a burger??).
My wife had the salad (obviously, she eats healthier than I doâŠ). She liked it and said it was fresh.
Our food came out Speedy Gonzalez fast!! The fries were not hot (sitting around too long) and the burger was⊠mehâŠ
Bonus!! We got there during happy hour!! Buy one get one free draft beer.
Not as great as hoped for. BTW, my wife just said âIf they were completely out of all the macaroni balls they must be back orderedâŠâ ?!?
