Waited over an hour for food and eventually had to get a refund because they still hadn't started cooking it. Staff was rude the entire time.

Ordered Bao Bun and Thai Tea, it’s took way too long to make and after 30 minutes of waiting we’re denied a refund, so it looks like we’re stuck here waiting.

I ordered a basic black garlic tonkotsu ramen with chashu pork, and it was honestly the blandest ramen I've ever had. The green onions were mushy, the meat seemed microwaved, and the broth was watery and insubstantial. I also ordered some pork bao, and it was awful. The bun fell apart as i picked it up and was clearly microwaved, not steamed. There were two overly thick slices of cucumber, some almost brown wilted cilantro (why would you put cilantro on this??), and heaping oversweet duck sauce as a feeble attempt to mask the gooey bland pork. The final thing i ordered was a 7 dollar seaweed salad, which came with maybe a quarter cup of seaweed at most, which was incredibly sugary and bland. it tasted like corn syrup. I had to wait almost half an hour for this clearly premade and microwaved meal, and then the owner fought back against my refund. the employee was helpful and apologetic, but their boss was rude. I've had better noodles from a top ramen packet. there are much better options at the food lab.

This was easily the worst ramen I have ever had. I got the chicken ramen and the chicken was so dry. I got the spicy base and that was okay but nothing special or spicy about it. My friend got the creamy base and it was actually horrible. Tasted like oily chicken noodle soup. Maybe their other dishes are okay but the ramen is horrible.

Overall, the food was acceptable, though there was a noticeable delay after ordering, and some dishes were slightly salty. Despite this, the food was generally good.

Ordered breaded pork ramen with miso broth and steamed pork buns. The miso was too salty to drink, the ramen itself felt no different from instant ramen, and the pork buns are the same exact ones that Trader Joe's has. The breaded pork was fine though. But overall an absolute ripoff.

I love this place, every time I'm here I get takoyaki at a minimum. It will complement food from almost any other place here. The ramen is good as well, but the takoyaki shines bright.

I would say when compared to Saku Ramen. Soho Ramen wins in authenticity, presentation, and generosity of portion. I had their Tonkotsu broth ramen with breaded chicken and a generous portion of rice noodles even for Japanese standards. The added spinach was a nice nutritional touch that I appreciated. Some may find the garlic overpowering but I had the spicy version which balanced it out nicely. Pro tip. If you do go spicy a Calpico drink will give you a nice cooling effect if things get too spicy.

I’ve always loved Soho Ramen for their vegan and vegetarian options. As someone who relies on delivery, they’ve been a dependable go-to for years. But lately, the quality and care have really gone downhill.

Today I ordered the Omin Fish Curry Udon, which is supposed to be vegan. Instead, I received the dish made with real fish. No warning, no message, no option to cancel or get a refund. I’m vegetarian and now stuck with a meal I can’t eat.

If an ingredient isn’t available, the staff should reach out to the customer or issue a refund. Swapping in animal products without consent is not okay, especially for people with dietary restrictions.

I hope Soho Ramen takes this seriously and improves how they handle online orders. I’d love to trust them again, but right now I’m really disappointed.

DON'T COME HERE!!!!!!!!
This place was genuinely horrible. My girlfriend made the mistake of coming here recently. We waited for over 40 minutes for two chicken bowls. So we went up to the register to ask for a refund, and the girl who worked there ignored us. We tried calling her over, but she kept ignoring us. Finally, she came over, and we requested a refund. She rolled her eyes and slammed the food onto a cart. I understand that they are understaffed, but her attitude wasn't necessary. She then called her manager, and his attitude was worse. He was so rude and slammed the refund receipt on the counter; he acted like a child and ignored us when we told him we had a separate order with two bottled drinks. If you don't like what you do, then be miserable elsewhere. Also, as we waited for the manager, they were conducting a food inspection, which we assume was prompted by the roaches that other customers had claimed to have seen the week before. 0/5 stars.

This is worse then instant ramen made in a microwave....not recommended.
Dumped mine in the trash, goza was rubbery and fell like it had been nuked too.

First of all, the menu is bilingual with /chinese/ for ラーメン. Big red flag. Yeah, I get that ramen is originally based on chinese-style noodles, but it is from Japan and arguably the national dish of that country. Anyways. The bowl was out quickly enough, about 10 minutes. Strangely, the menu gave me the option to order Dine-In or Take-out, and although I chose Dine-In, my food came out packed to go. The noodles had no bite, in fact, they were mushy. You can see the egg is overcooked. Spicy miso was spicer than I'm used to, potentially to cover up the lack of any distinctive flavor. Too much raw white onion (green was fine). Scarcely edible. Never again. Loved watching One Piece in the hall while I ate, but I'll be hitting up a different restaurant next time I'm at the Food Lab.
