I was very disappointed with my order. I was excited to get the food. I have come several times to eat there and every time it was good. This time however, I ordered to go and I live 30 mins away. I got home to find that more than 50% of my beef in my beef bowl was fat.I thought this would be rectified when I called SoHo Ramen to tell them how unsatisfied I was this time. Instead I got excuses and I was flat out told there will be nothing done about my bad experience. No refund, no new bowl when I’m in the area next (all suggestions I gave). But I was met with more no’s. This is very disappointing. I now feel like I can't come back here in good conscience after being treated in this way as a paying customer.

Good food but not sure it was worth waiting over 25 minutes for it... Everyone has their food from other restaurants before me and we're mostly done eating. I understand good food is worth the wait... But it is so up like a cool food truck but with the wait of a sit down restaurant. If your willing to wait for ramen, it could be worth it for you.

Not sure why there’s so much hate, had the pork bao buns and the chicken curry rice bowl which was very similar to a katsu. Both were super tasty. Guy working the front was nice enough.

Very disappointed. I have been here couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it. I have no idea what happened but I am definitely not coming back....

Waited 10 minutes in line and 35 minutes for the food which I was alright with as long as the food was alright. The ramen is on par with instant ramen the noodles are almost exactly the same as instant ramen noodles and the broth was not great either. I have been to a bunch of ramen food court places and this is by far the worst yet been to the food court ramen stand at the packing house in Anaheim and it's not even a comparison. Not worth the 45 minute long wait we had for instant ramen with an egg and toppings

I was lured in by the website, with their seemingly curated menu, should've turned around when I saw the crazy amount of options all blurring together. I've seen enough episodes of Hells Kitchen to know a massive menu is a red flag, but I'd decided I wanted ramen. After 10 minutes I get a to-go bowl that looks nice enough. Not very hot, the miso broth had a good flavor, the noodles were way too firm for my taste and honestly felt closer to okay-ish packaged noodles. The best thing in the bowl was the marinated egg, of which I only received half a slice (???). The meat was good but thin and nothing to write home about. Don't let the trendy surroundings fool you, I could have probably had any of the other restaurants in there and left far more satisfied, and I'll make sure to remember that next time- why'd I think I could get a decent bowl of ramen in Riverside?

I should've known better. The ramen restaurant in the food court that offer fried rice, bulgogi, etc. Why did I think the ramen would be great? Sigh. The Omni pork Vegan Ramen with black garlic was ooooookay. Nothing great but not terrible. Also, why was I given a fork & no chop sticks!?!

Soho Ramen is a delicious little gem located in downtown Riverside, inside the Food Lab next to the Historic Fox Theater. There are about 8 or more places to eat in the Food Lab, with Soho being one of the better ones IMHO.I honestly don't understand all of the low-rated reviews of this place, to be honest. I've eaten here about half a dozen times and their food has been wonderful each and every time. For those who don't know, Soho is a Ramen Restaurant on steroids. They don't have JUST Ramen, they have a variety of other traditional Japanese fares including Udon, Yakisoba, Beef Bowl, and Rice dishes. It really is a great place to eat when you want to try more traditional, non-sushi Japanese food. My personal favorite is the Chicken Ramen.Something I've found here that I can never find anywhere outside of Japan is an appetizer dish called Okonamiyaki. It's kinda like fried bread with savory sauce and toppings that look a little like a pizza. It's DELICIOUS and I was so happy to finally find it!Their menu really is quite large for a small place, so you have a lot of options to choose from, especially if you're a vegetarian. The prices are a LITTLE on the spendy side but not too much, and the portions are more than filling! The only "meh" thing I can really say is that it's one of the more popular spots inside the Food Lab, so on busy nights and weekends you can expect a wait. Also, bear in mind that they make your orders fresh, so it takes a little bit. Seating can be a bit of a pain too, but that's not their fault. This is because they are sharing seating options with all the other restaurants located in the Food Lab.Seriously, if you're curious about traditional Japanese "ramen-shop" style food and you want a delicious taste experience I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area!

SoHo ramen is one of many food spots located at the Food Lab Riverside. Here for an anime convention, this 12 seated counter spot( can fit 12 but only has 7 seats) has a selection of ramen, rice noodles, bento and more.I got the Tonkotsu charshu pork ramen(standard basic ramen I review at all ramen spots). Broth felt a bit watered down, not as creamy. Simple egg, noodles wasn't hot, the charshu was steamed, less charred but above average. Too much bamboo shoots and spinach was okay. It's not really a family style spot, they make everything in a to go. Gotta ask for chopsticks as well. I don't know why you would give out untensils for ramen, when everyone was asking for it.First ramen spot out of the San Diego area and even thought it's fulfilling, I'm guessing SoHo main business would be the bento boxes. Nice art around the SoHo sign though. Glad to try just for lunch. Maybe there might e another ramen spot around? Idk, back to SD for now. Arigato Gozimasu.

Bulgogi bowl was horrible. Over seasoned completely shredded and hard to find with in the bowl. I had to mix it in with the rice to try and make it work so that it could be half way decent but it just didn’t work. I tried I really did but I couldn’t finish it. I threw it away and ordered from a different place. Never again

Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. So bad. Service is trash. Flavorless. Should have read the reviews.
